Can Obama Be “Stopped?”

CONGRESSMAN AUTHORING RESOLUTION AGAINST EXECUTIVE OVERREACH ASKS FOR SUPPORT FROM COLLEAGUES AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC

(Feb. 17, 2014) — In an email newsletter on Monday, Liberty Counsel Action reported that the “Stop This Overreaching Presidency (STOP)” endeavor in the House of Representatives has 104 cosponsors.

Mat Staver, president of Liberty Counsel, has called for Articles of Impeachment to be drafted naming Obama as having abused the power of the office he currently holds.

Staver has publicized a petition and facsimile campaign asking the House of Representatives to draft the Articles with the goal of ultimately removing Obama from office “for high crimes and misdemeanors… including failure to execute his duties in the office of President of the United States and acting in willful violation of the Constitution of the United States.”

The “STOP” measure was widely reported in the alternative media on January 30, but the mainstream media appears not to have noticed.  Initiated by Rep. Tom Rice of South Carolina’s Seventh District, House Resolution 442 “directs the House to institute legal action to require the President to comply with the law.”  Rice further states on his website, “This resolution does not require a vote in the Senate.”

In order to initiate removal a sitting president or other “civil officer,” the House of Representatives acts as the accuser by drafting Articles of Impeachment and submitting them to the Senate, which acts as a jury.   The chief justice of the Supreme Court presides.

The text of the resolution states that Obama has demonstrated “continuing failure to faithfully execute the laws…” quoting from Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution.

Article II, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution states:

The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The Resolution faults Obama for having issued changes to the health care law and an executive order allowing young illegals to remain in the country under certain conditions without congressional approval.  As of Monday evening, 106 cosponsors of the resolution are reported.  The House contains 435 members.

Former and present presidential candidate Cody Robert Judy had predicted late last year that impeachment hearings would take place in the House in January.  On January 15, The Post & Email contacted with Judy to inquire if he believed his prediction would prove accurate.  Several days later, Judy responded by stating, in part, that “there has [sic] been some significant things happening.”

Judy has additionally said that there is much information he cannot divulge at present and assured The Post & Email that we “will not be disappointed” in regard to his prediction of impeachment hearings.

On Sunday, Fox News reported that several Republicans have asserted that Obama “knows this is wrong” regarding his alleged overreach, but that “they likely have no recourse or ability to stop another incident.”

On the same day on which the STOP Resolution was introduced, Rep. Steve Stockman, a cosponsor, asked for the public to indicate its support for Articles of Impeachment against Obama.  Following Obama’s State of the Union address on January 28, Rep. Michele Bachmann hinted that a lawsuit would be filed citing Obama for the “unilateral activity” Obama said he would carry out in the absence of acquiescence to his agenda by Congress.  Prior to the speech, Obama had declared that he had “a pen and a phone” to accomplish his second-term goals without Congress, if necessary.

Rice’s Facebook page provides a form for citizens to complete to become “citizen cosponsors” of the resolution.  Rice has also invited phone calls to his Washington, DC office from the public at 202-225-9895.  On January 30, Rice said that “he needs 200 cosponsors to really make it happen.”

Sen. Rand Paul, Atty. Larry Klayman and Freedom Works have filed a lawsuit against Obama for alleged Fourth Amendment violations committed by the National Security Agency (NSA) under the Obama regime.  In 2011, Obama reversed the policy of the NSA to refrain from monitoring Americans’ communications unless there was probable cause of terrorist activity.

Many already believe that Obama has made himself a dictator.  He signed the health care bill on March 23, 2010; Hitler signed his “Enabling Act” on the same date in 1933 which rescinded constitutional rights of Germans and “established the legal dictatorship of Adolf Hitler.”  When Vladimir Lenin took control of Russia following the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, he asserted that “socialized medicine” was “the keystone” to building his socialist utopia.

The lawsuit does not contemplate that the long-form birth certificate image posted on the White House website has been determined to be a “computer-generated forgery” by a law enforcement investigation conducted by the Maricopa County Cold Case Posse.  Stockman has reportedly taken an interest in that issue and agreed to bring it forward at the appropriate time.

A significant announcement is anticipated from the posse in March.  Ten days ago, lead investigator Mike Zullo announced that a second criminal investigation was launched by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio which to date has uncovered that at least one Obama internet operative is employed by DARPA, a division of the Department of Defense involved in the development of psychological warfare.
