“THIS IS CALLED ‘TACIT CONSENT'”

February 21, 2012

What has Gov. Bill Haslam done about corruption in his state since he took office in January 2011? Has he called for the convening of a special grand jury to investigate it?

Bill Haslam

TN Governor

First Floor State Capitol

Nashville, TN 37243

Dear Governor Haslam,

I am writing you over the concern I have for the egregious and blatant corruption going on in the state of TN, of which you are the chief law enforcement officer responsible in holding accountable those who have committed crimes.  In this instance I am referring specifically to Monroe County, TN and the unlawful incarceration of Walt Fitzpatrick and Darren Huff.  I can state thankfully that Walt Fitzpatrick is no longer being held, but unfortunately it is not because your office had anything to do with his release.  I am well aware that you and your office know exactly who and what I am talking about as your office has received numerous phone calls, faxes and letters regarding this very issue of which I speak, some of which have come from me.  Both of these men served in our Armed Forces and did so with honor serving our country.  The same cannot be said about those in power who have sworn an oath to defend and support the U.S. Constitution in your home state and unfortunately this starts and ends with the Governor’s office.  How can you idly sit by why innocent people have had their constitutional liberties infringed upon?  How can you ignore the multitude of TN citizens and other U.S. citizens who have voiced their great concern for these crimes committed by judges, law enforcement officers and grand jurors in your state and specifically Monroe County?  By sitting by idly and doing nothing is implication of guilt by virtue of your silence, this is called tacit consent.  The very acts of tyranny and oppression that our forefathers left by escaping Great Britain to establish a new and free nation is taking place in your state and not just in your state, but in many other states as well, including my home state of IL, which was named recently as the third most corrupt state in the union. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/02/14/chicago-called-most-corrupt-city-in-nation/

It is high time that you do the job that the citizens of TN elected you to do, enforce the laws of your state and bring to account and to justice those who have circumvented the laws and made the innocent out to be the criminal.  Due process is not even being allowed to your own citizens.  I respectfully demand and implore you to help those who need your help the most and call for immediate investigations on the unlawful incarcerations of Darren Huff and Walt Fitzpatrick III.  They served this country well in protecting the U.S. Constitution and are still doing so today.  What about you, Governor Haslam?  Could you stand before the Lord God and say with a clear conscience that you have done your best and upheld your oath to defend and support the U.S. Constitution and protect the innocent from abusive civil governmental power?  The links below (and there are literally dozens & dozens more) are attached for you to see, read, and know that these crimes are not being covered up by those who truly care about the truth and liberty, but by those who are to be our public servants.  Will you stand up, Governor Haslam, and be a man of honor and integrity, or will you be complicit in continuing to allow laws to be broken in the state of TN?

Respectfully,

Michael Jackson
