The Prescott Fantastic Four … and More

(Jul. 14, 2026) — The Prescott Fourth of July Parade celebrated America’s 250th Birthday in style. More than one hundred floats, horse squadrons and marching bands paraded around our Back to the Future-like Courthouse Square. What might have been the largest spectator crowd was present to cheer the paraders.

Ironically, the Democratic Party float was situated directly in front of several Republican floats including Republican Women of Prescott and Yavapai GOP. Quartz Mountain Commentary was present at the YavGOP float and noticed firsthand an interesting phenomenon that spectators were eerily quiet as the Democratic float went by.

In contrast to the Silence of the Democrats, thousands of spectators enthusiastically and noisily greeted the Republican floats throughout the entire parade route. Three cheers for Prescott, which teems and teams with Conservatism!

The Fourth of July in Prescott only got better. Immediately after the parade, Founding Fathers hosted four great, all-star Republicans running for office. Leading the entourage was Andy Biggs who is running to show the door to the reprehensible Katie Hobbs. Hobbs’s claim to fame was that she used to be an Uber driver, and it is time to call her a taxi. Andy is serving in the US House of Representatives which used to be the home of John McCain and Jeff Flake. Andy is the head of the Freedom Caucus which fights for the cause of Conservatism. You can’t do much better than that.

Next up to bat was Warren Peterson who is running for Arizona Attorney General to replace the repulsive tenure of Kris Mayes. Mr. Peterson is currently the President of the Arizona Senate. Far from following the crowd, Warren was way ahead of his time sponsoring a bill in 2022 to keep men’s peepees out of both women’s locker rooms and women’s sports. Peterson has consistently fought The Veto Queen Hobbs and has managed to procure ballot overrides. Peterson is an activist legislator and knows how to assemble legal teams to fight the Democrats.

Third up to bat was Selina Bliss who is a hard-charging member of the Arizona State Senate.

Cleanup was done by Eli Crane who received the biggest applause of the day. Eli, a former Navy Seal, has worked his butt off in the US House of Representatives. He is running unopposed as it seems everyone is afraid to run against him.

Quartz Mountain Commentary endorses this Fantastic Four team as they will lead Arizona out of the quagmire that it has found itself in by the failing Socialist Democratic Party. Also present was our State Senator Mark Finchem and Sheriff David Rhodes, who gave speeches.

It is critical that Arizona Republicans and Freedom-loving Independents vote in both the upcoming Arizona Primary on July 21 and the General Election on November 3. In 2022, 27,000+ Yavapai Republicans failed to vote and this margin allowed Hobbs to become our Governor. Get off your fanny and vote! You can vote early until July 17. There is simply no excuse for failing to vote. Just listen to the spirits of the fallen at Valley Forge and the beaches of Omaha who have given you the right to vote.
