(Jun. 4, 2025) — The Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF), founded in 2021 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Steve Kirsch, will be hosting a discussion of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. EDT/4:00 p.m. PDT.

Kirsch’s featured guest is Dr. Pierre Kory, a pulmonary and critical care specialist who was an outspoken critic of government edicts and “orthodoxy” during the COVID pandemic years, including at roundtables held by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) on Capitol Hill.

Kory commented extensively on what he said was a “global war on ivermectin,” a repurposed, FDA-approved drug he says could have saved lives during the COVID lockdowns.

In response to the government’s strictly-controlled treatment narrative, in March 2020 Kory and Dr. Paul Marik co-founded the FLCCC (Front-Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance), which developed alternative protocols for treating both the virus and the many reported post-vaccine injuries and syndromes.

The organization launched webinars held every Wednesday evening for those seeking alternative information on COVID, expanding to nutrition, healthy cuisine and other subjects. Now known as the Independent Medical Alliance (IMA), it has continued the webinars, organized an annual conference and established fellowships for physicians from around the world.

Earlier this year, the IMA launched a medical journal and expanded its research and treatment areas to cancer.

In May 2022, Kory and Marik were informed the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) was recommending the revocation of their accreditation for “allegedly spreading false information.”

A final decision was issued in August revoking both doctors’ accreditation. Three months later, they joined a lawsuit against the ABIM “and other board-certifying organizations as well as the Biden Administration” alleging “that ABIM infringed on their freedom of speech, contractual due process rights,” and claims defamed them.

In June 2024 Kory departed the FLCCC to open The Leading Edge Clinic, specializing in the “evaluation and treatment plans for COVID-19, Long COVID, and vaccine injury syndromes.”

After examining medical records following the recent deaths of two young girls in Texas, purportedly from measles, Kory was convinced the medical conclusion in at least one of the cases was inaccurate.

On May 28, Kory was the guest of Children’s Health Defense (CHD), founded by now-HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Polly Tommey hosting, to shed light on the tragic deaths of 18-month-old twins eight days after receiving three vaccine shots each, one of which contained three vaccines (DTaP: diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus).

CHD has interviewed numerous parents whose babies died in close proximity to receiving vaccines. According to Kory, it is a pattern he has seen repeatedly. Of the twins, he opined, “This is absolutely typical of death related to a vaccine” (10:30). SIDS was “almost unheard-of before the 1960s, when immunization programs started to roll out,” he said.

CHD is receiving a report of an infant death closely following vaccination each week, Tommey said.

According to healthline.com, “Even though SIDS is considered rare, it’s the most common cause [Trusted Source] of death for children between the age of 1 month and 1 year. It most often happens between the ages of 2 and 4 months. In 2018 [Trusted Source], approximately 1,300 babies died of SIDS in the United States.”

The Mayo Clinic reports that “Both physical and sleep factors put an infant at risk of SIDS. These factors vary from child to child.”

As with other sources, the Cleveland Clinic recommends parents place their baby on its back to sleep rather than in the prone position to prevent SIDS. Another recommendation is, “Get your baby vaccinated: Research suggests that getting your baby’s vaccines on time reduces their risk of SIDS by up to 50%.”
