Dear Editor,
Whilst POTUS Donald Trump is bringing so much hope, in many respects he is terrifying in other ways, especially his ignorance in saying Iran’s mad mullahs’ obsession with acquiring nuclear weapons can be dealt with by diplomacy…such arrant nonsense!
Has Trump not heard the old story of the demise of the gullible frog at the hands of the compulsively evil scorpion when giving the scorpion a life-saving ride, crossing a flood- swollen creek?
Not only that, but Red China (so lovingly embracing the Tibetans and Uyghurs) and Putin’s Russia (seeking to take over the Ukraine) are asking Trump to remove all sanctions against so ineffably despotic Iran, the architect/financer/arms supplier of the heinous Hamas and Hezbollah, for the promised destruction of democratic Western society Israel, and ultimately, Western society in general! If Trump even entertains such a thought, then the Leader of the Free World is truly America’s biggest ever…goofball!
