Hello, John Farnham…Our First Great- Grandchild’s Mum has also Beaten Cancer and Will Give Voice to “Yes” or “No”

Dear Editor,

In addition to singer John Farnham, our first-born great-grandchild’s grandmother (our first-born child) has beaten cancer after many years of treatment, including total (not one hubby visit or even one visit from her mum) “in-the-bubble” isolation during Covid for some nine weeks in Victoria’s wonderful Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre. This bloke dips his lid to great Pommy/Aussie singer John Farnham’s magnificent fight back against cancer and his ability to now give voice to his opinion on the “Voice to Parliament” referendum.

I don’t know whether my very strong-willed, cancer-beating daughter or my equally strong-willed great-granddaughter will vote “Yes” or “No” as is their democratic right. But one thing I do know is that without doubt, your great social status would have you (as was PM Anthony Albanese’s son) welcomed into Irish/Aussie (“Yes”-man to PM Albanese) Qantas CEO Alan Joyce’s Chairman’s Lounge for any of your needs.

Now, John, such Chairman’s Lounge, etc. luxury treatment from elite “Yes” high-flyers the likes of ‘selling phantom flights’ Qantas sales-supremo, Alan Joyce, precludes millions of Voice-voting Aussies of much lower socioeconomic standing who would bear any financial brunt and social upheaval if a “Yes” win were to go horribly wrong for the everyday, only- affording Qantas economy-flying Aussie (of all origins).
