(Jul. 26, 2022) — On Tuesday 45th President Donald J. Trump will speak on the second day of an America First Policy Institute (AFPI) conference in Washington, DC on the topic of national “lawlessness,” spokeswoman Liz Harrington told journalists John Solomon and Amanda Head Monday on RealAmericasVoice.

AFPI is a non-profit whose goal is to “advance policies that put the American people first,” according to its website. “Our guiding principles are liberty, free enterprise, national greatness, American military superiority, foreign-policy engagement in the American interest, and the primacy of American workers, families, and communities in all we do,” it further states.

The organization’s leadership consists of many former Trump-administration figures such as former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe and Veterans Administration Secretary Robert Wilkie as well as former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, former DHS Acting Secretary Chad Wolf, and former SBA Administrator Linda McMahon.

Its “priorities” are subdivided into categories known as “Centers,” including a “Center for Election Integrity,” “Center for American Security,” and “Center for Energy Independence,” among many others.

Trump is widely expected to declare his intent to seek the presidency again in 2024 but has not yet made an official announcement. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is also rumored to be considering a run, although he is currently seeking re-election in November.

Harrington told Head and Solomon that Trump will give “a very strong speech” on the “lack of law and order” in the U.S. today and “what he did putting Americans first, restoring the rule of law, and how do we fix it going forward.”

“We’re seeing skyrocketing crime, a lawlessness at the border that’s really by design; you have two standards of justice; there’s so much meat in just this one area alone…,” Harrington said, and that she believes “the American people are really desperate to hear it.”

Not only large cities, but the nation’s capital have been affected, she said. “We talk about New York; we talk about LA; we talk about Chicago, and these cities have just been run so poorly for so long, but but the decline of DC because of these Marxist, quite frankly, policies and an out-of-control, radical left Congress, I think, is really having an effect on this city.”

“Somebody in the White House is paying attention,” Solomon responded, referring to Biden’s remarks Monday night alleging Trump “watched it all happen” while “lacking the courage to act,” referring to the January 6, 2021 incursion at the U.S. Capitol resulting in hundreds of arrests and some jailed without charge or trial for more than 18 months.

“It’s pathetic,” Harrington replied of Biden’s comments, recalling the 2020 summer riots when, according to Harrington, Biden had “zero presence in 2020 when his party was burning down cities across the country and encouraging it.”

“The only person who was actively trying to make sure January 6 was a safe event was President Trump,” she continued, referring to then-President Trump’s offer of 20,000 National Guard troops for January 6 which Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi did not accept for unknown reasons.

“We knew there was going to be tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of Americans there; we knew they were very upset at the rigged and stolen election, and we wanted it to be a safe event,” Harrington continued. “You know why? Because we wanted the evidence of election fraud heard. Joe Biden had an interest to that evidence to not be heard; he is the coward here as well as other members of the political establishment that tried to rubber-stamp his illegitimate results from November third.”

Head replied that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, “certainly not the president of Donald Trump’s fan club,” asserted Trump’s intent that day was to “make this a safe event.”

Issues she believes Americans are concerned about for the midterm elections are “inflation and gas prices, energy dependence again,…I think President Trump…showed what a real leader who puts America’s interests first looks like and acts like, and you get record-low gas prices; you get a booming economy; you get the biggest tax cuts and a strong border and better fair trade, and those issues all affect Americans on a daily basis…”

“Everywhere you look at it, it’s a complete disaster,” she said of the U.S. currently. “And how do you change it? You gotta get election integrity. So that’s why we keep talking about it…”

“You can’t sum it up better than $1.87 a gallon gas to now upwards of $5.00, $6.00, $7.00, in some places, a gallon,” she summarized. “It’s just absolutely indefensible; it never should have happened, and the American people are hurting because of it.”

Head closed by saying she and Solomon will attend the conference Tuesday and report further on RAV on a live basis.

Live streaming of the event can also be found here and is taking place at the time of publication.
