(Jul. 25, 2021) — At the 2:33:27 mark at a Turning Point Action election integrity event in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ5) spoke prior to the arrival of 45th President of the United States Donald Trump.

Turning Point billed the event as an all-day conference beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m., and the speakers addressed the group in the evening.

A third-term congressman and former president of the Arizona senate, Biggs is the current chairman of the House Freedom Caucus and a member of the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committees.

As The Post & Email reported, Trump addressed the crowd beginning just before 7:00 p.m. EDT, asserting that the results of the Maricopa County forensic election audit will be “outrageous” and prompt further action on the part of Arizona state senate president Karen Fann.

At a hearing on July 15, it was revealed that 74,000 ballots were mailed in which showed no record of having been sent to voters through official channels.

State Senator Wendy Rogers subsequently released a statement in which she said Arizona should “recall its electors” given that Maricopa County’s tallies, as reported to the secretary of state and governor, appear to have been erroneous.

Biggs said he recently spoke with Trump about his upcoming appearance at the event, telling him, “The state of Arizona misses you, Mr. President, and the whole country misses you.”

He recounted Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s recent assembling of a “select committee” to investigate the incursion into the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 and Pelosi’s subsequent rejection of two of Biggs’s colleagues, Jim Jordan (R-OH4) and Jim Banks (R-IN3), to serve on the committee.

The members House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy chose for the “bipartisan” committee consisted of some who voted to certify the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden on January 6, Biggs said; three who “didn’t vote,” and Banks and Jordan, who objected.

Pelosi specifically chose Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who has voiced vehement opposition to Trump and voted to impeach him in January, then was voted out of her Republican Conference Chair position. Pelosi has also chosen Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL16), who also is not a Trump supporter.

Trump was accused of inciting violence that day as he addressed approximately a million supporters at the Ellipse who believed the election was “stolen,” which fueled the House’s second attempt to remove him from office.

Biggs said after Pelosi declared she would not allow Banks and Jordan to serve, he convened the Freedom Caucus. whose members agreed Pelosi should be removed as Speaker. Biggs said he then conveyed that sentiment to McCarthy, a development reported by Politico on Friday.

“Only two people in the whole House can really ask for her to be removed,” Biggs told the audience, as a result of Pelosi’s having “changed the rules.”

“We want to remove Nancy Pelosi because she doesn’t represent the values of the United States Congress…” and other reasons, Biggs said he told McCarthy on behalf of the Caucus.

Biggs said that shortly after the November 3 election in which Biden was declared the winner of Arizona’s 11 electoral votes, he “made some calls” asking that Arizona undertake an election audit, “but they have fought the state senate with lawsuit after lawsuit, speedstick after speedstick.”

After months of legal wrangling between the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and interested parties vs. members of the Arizona senate, the forensic audit of the county’s election was launched in April and completed, in large part, in late June.

Most Americans favor a requirement for voters to show identification, Biggs said. “They want to bring the entire nation under the thumb of the federal government for your elections,” Biggs said, referring to congressional Democrats wishing to pass HR1/SR1, which would institutionalize mail-in voting, drop boxes and other changes made in the 2020 election stemming from the coronavirus.

The Democrats are allowing “a couple hundred thousand a month” illegal aliens to cross the southern border in order to gain eventual Democrat voters and that the U.S.-Mexico border is now “the worst I’ve ever seen it,” Biggs told the audience. On a trip to Yuma six weeks ago, he said, he was told by border authorities that border-crossers were arriving from such countries as Russia, Brazil, Romania, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. “It is an enormous number of people,” he said.

Biggs reported he saw signs posted “across the Rio Grande River” directing illegal aliens to a Border Patrol “transition center,” a change in policy for which he blamed Biden, “Cacklin’ Kamala Harris” and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

He pointed to Democrats for runaway spending and subsequent inflation, border insecurity, rising gas prices and the erosion of election integrity. “That is because of Joe Biden,” he said. “Right now this administration is ignoring it just as much as they’re ignoring the border…that’s the Biden administration,” he said.

“So what do we do?” Biggs then asked, which was followed by murmuring from the audience. “Here’s what we do: Lock ’em up, fix 2020; yes; these are things we’ve got to do. We have to hold people accountable. That is always the first thing…”

On the “January 6th issue,” Biggs asserted, Congress should obtain a reported 14,000 hours of video footage from the Capitol incursion not publicly released to arrive at the truth.

On the Maricopa election audit, he referred to two letters from the Justice Department warning state senators of possible voting infringements should it continue.

“Everything we hold dear is under attack,” he said, which will require “a consistent, coherent coordinated message of courage and well-articulated plans” to “beat the Democrats.”

The Democrat Party is now controlled by “Marxists,” he said, as evidenced by their efforts to join with “Big Tech” to censor opposing voices. “That’s called ‘fascism,'” he said.

He compared the long lines of people waiting to hear Trump speak, including at current one, to a “town hall with Biden.” He said those who support the “America First” agenda, which Trump founded by means of his 2016 campaign, must “resist the takeover of the United States of America.”

“With our faith in God, with our understanding of who we are as Americans, we will not lose, we cannot fail; we will win, and when we win, there will be many on that side that say, ‘Thank God you stood up and fought, because we are still free,'” he said, his voice raising in tenor.

Concluding his remarks at 2:53:52, Biggs said, “So when Donald Trump comes here before too very long, you and I will both know that in 2024, if not sooner, but certainly (cheering), Donald J. Trump will be back in the presidency, return to us the ‘America First’ agenda, recognizing our freedoms and allowing you as individuals to make the decisions that mature, free people make every day…”

Everything in Washington D.C. is wrong, illegal, criminal, and unconstitutional about all three branches of the United States of America. Here’s one more piece of information concerning the Executive Office that supports the above Captain Obvious statement.
