(Nov. 5, 2020) — Shortly after 4:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. Arizona time, “Citizens United” President and Trump surrogate David Bossie announced at a presser that if the current trend continues, once all vote-counting is completed in Arizona, Trump will be awarded the state’s 11 electoral votes.

The press conference took place during “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” which offered only Bossie’s opening remarks before shifting back to the regular program.

“We’re going to make sure that every single vote counts, and we’re going to prove to the American people that Arizona is Trump country,” Bossie said to cheers from those surrounding him.

As have other Trump supporters, Bossie faulted media organizations which called Arizona for Biden on Tuesday night while counting was ongoing, which Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs confirmed Wednesday morning.

Although Fox News was one of those organizations, on Wednesday night’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity reported that at that time, approximately 400,000 votes remained to be counted in Maricopa County. On Wednesday and updated Thursday, Arizona Central reported that other counties also had outstanding ballots to be counted.

Cavuto then received a report from Jonathan Hunt from Nevada in which Hunt said the Trump campaign had made a series of “bizarre claims” about ballots being counted from deceased individuals and other irregularities “without evidence.” Hunt added that he questioned Trump surrogate and former Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Ric Grenell, who he said declined to proffer details.

The Trump campaign could be saving that information for a “judge,” Hunt said, referencing the campaign’s promise to file a lawsuit over the matter.
