Juan,
First of all, I liked you. You were on Bill O’Reilly’s show a lot and I appreciated your views on many issues. Not so much anymore though. Are you getting old and stupid or just acting stupid on “The Five”? I have wanted to write you for months but could not find your email address on line. Can’t take it any more…. Juan, do your research and get information right please!!!!
You asked on Thursday, 4/16/2020, “why are we going after WHO?” Let me tell you WHY WE SHOULD GO AFTER WHO— WHO kisses China’s a** all the time, WHO is nothing but a puppet for China. Do you know WHO rejected Taiwan to be a member because “China” refused to recognize Taiwan as a legitimate country? Even though Taiwan is not a member of WHO, Taiwan does (and still is doing) a great job in handling COVID 19. Taiwan tried to provide information to WHO but WHO refused to accept any information from Taiwan. What kind of “world” organization is that? Because WHO refused to work with Taiwan, WHO lost out on important and significant information from Taiwan as early as December or late November. Many lives could have been saved! Yes, our country can do just fine without WHO. Taiwan is not a WHO member yet Taiwan has a great health system (check it out, Juan). We don’t need WHO! WHO is a waste of my taxpayer’s money.
I am about the same age of you, Juan. As we get older, we should get wiser. Please think, study before you voice your opinions. Thank you and good luck.

In response to your comment about Mike Bloomberg offering that “red-lining caused the mortgage meltdown.” You miss the point.

Here is the chain: (1) years of genuine discriminatory red-lining; led to (2) the enactment of the Community Reinvestment Act (during the Clinton administration) which (3) caused banks being forced to make mortgages in communities whose residents were marginal credits; which (4) led to Wall Street creatively expanding the secondary mortgage market by securitizing sub-prime mortgages into bonds and selling them; which (5) were not adequately regulated by Federal and State banking regulators——-which led to (6) continuing sub-prime lending in an already overheated lending market (everyone wanted to comply with a lousy regulation where you could still make money by securitizing mortgages into sub-par bonds); and with (7) corrupt and complicit bond rating agencies (who made hundreds of millions of $) inflating the quality rating which was taken by buyers as “gospel”…………………….ultimately led to (8) bond defaults which (9) rippled through the banking system causing a banking panic and leading to a recession and the TARP bailout program.

Do us all a favor Mr. Williams…………do your homework first before you opine on complex issues about which you are very poorly informed. Thank you

Hey Juan, Sorry you are “heartbroken” about the president’s recent language. But welcome to my world. I felt the same way when Bill Clinton became involved with an intern in the Oval Office. Imagine that. Wonder if old George Washington would approve? I was not heartbroken, but I was quite disappointed when Obama told Vlad he “would have more flexibility after the election.” He also called me a “Bible and Gun clinger.” Correct me if I am wrong, but aren’t those our 1st two amendments. You cannot imagine how upsetting it was when the racist president Obama and his also racist AG decided not to prosecute members of the Black Panthers who were videotaped intimidating voters at the polls because they were his “people.” I was also quite distraught when Hillary called me and my bride an “irredeemable, deplorable” supporter of the president. Oh, yes, your current Dem hopeful, 20% Joe Biden, is on video bragging about threatening the President of Ukraine to fire a prosecutor that was going after his son and you say it did not happen. You say they were cleared of charges. Wrong answer, cupcake. They were never investigated and that is what Trump, our chief law enforcement officer, was requesting, which is one of his listed responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief. I could go on. It should be sufficient to know that Trump has done nothing compared to your Dem heroes, and please tell me what evidence does anyone have of high crimes and misdemeanors? That’s what I thought. You got nothing. Do us all a favor and clam up with your Dem Hypocrisy. You are not even intellectually honest with yourself, let alone your audience. Roy G. Barker Grateful USA Vet.

Last night you stated quite strongly that article 2 of the constitution sets presidential term limits to two. If true how did FDR get elected four times? He did because you got your facts wrong. After FDR was elected the country passed the 22 amendment to set term limits. I learned that is the 8th grade civics class. I am now 72 and still remember that.

Please correct tonight so that the people you fooled are unfooled.

Today on “The Five” you showed just how real Trump Derangement Syndrome really is. Your anger and hatred were and are inarguable. I am a christian man, but God forgive me – I would have really enjoyed watching Greg throw your evil @#$ off of the set. I supported you when NPR canned you, because I believe in free speech. But, now that you’ve gone off the deep end into total left-wing lies and hate-filled B.S. rhetoric, I say “blackest darkness awaits those who practice the ways of untruth.” Oh yeah, the bible says that as well. Being the christian that I’ve heard you claim to be, I thought you’d know that. I guess not.

Juan,

My wife and I together paid into Social Security for a total 71 years. We resent you implying that what we receive is a government handout. We worked for every dime we receive.

We are proud of our service to education here in Alabama and don’t appreciate our service being minimized. Many of our friends have to take on a second job to make ends meet.. Don’t use us in your take on your social society. We worked and now we are receiving the benefits of our work, and not a handout.

Juan, we know that you have a tough job battling the opposition, but don’t link us into that category

Juan, How dare you use my hard earned Social Security contributions while you pander for socialism. Also VA benefits are for those who have served this Great Nation, none of these are socialist programs. These are contributions and patriotic service not Socialist Handouts. On that subject, how did Congress ever determine that taking our money ( yes Juan, you are included in this provided you paid in to SS ) to pay for Socialist like programs is beyond me. Its about time you do some serious thinking in regards to your beliefs about all this Socialist Tyranny that is the talking points of the Socialist Democratic Party That has emerged with all the identity politics. PS, at one time the Democratic Party was the Party of the Working folks, not anymore.

SAME OLD, SAME OLD
Life goes on day after day!
People are beautiful. We are the only creatures made after God’s image. God has given us authority to rule over our planet, and after all these years people have created hospitals, businesses to benefit other people and animals, and keep our home, the earth a safe place for millions of people to live in peace and safety most of the time. We have created schools where children can learn in safety, children have all kinds of options to learn music, sports, etc.
God created humans after His image, because we create beautiful things to benefit this world. We are the only creatures that can create all the beautiful paintings, artistic buildings, auto’s and things that benefit every creature on this earth. We create food for animals, medicines that keep our animal friends well and alive. We have created communication systems where by we can communicate to someone around the world in seconds. No other creature has ever created all the technology and wonderful things mankind has created that has made our world a better place to live in.
God created people after His image so we could love one another and care for one another. God is loving the Bible says. God’s character is loving. love cares and treats others with dignity and honor. 1 Corinthians 13: 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. God is love, His character is always like the descriptions of love that are written in the Bible. If you look at Jesus Christ when He lived on earth, Jesus was perfect. Jesus lived every moment of His life in 1 Corinthians 13.
I find it strange that if God and Jesus Christ are loving, their character is loving and caring, why can not we, people made after the image of God, love each other all the time? Why is there conflict in relationships, wars all around the world, drama everywhere we look? The problem we have always had is sin. Sin is a character flaw all people have. Romans 3: There is no difference between Jew and all people, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. If you do not believe all have fallen short of God glory, why can’t people live in peace with each other? If God is loving, and wants all people to live with each other peaceably, why don’t we as humans live peaceably with each other? Throughout the history of this world we have had wars, divorces, strife even is the best of families, jealousy, envy, bitter feelings, unforgiveness, people addicted to alcohol and drugs, which destroy relationships, sexual deviance, adults trying to convince innocent children they are not boys or girls as God created them to be. We live in communities that are somewhat peaceful, but why can’t we live in peace and love towards one another as God has intended for people that are made after His image?
Galatians 5:19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
According to the Bible people who live by God’s Spirit will live according to the verses in 22-26. They will be kind to everyone, gentle to everyone, faithful to everyone, patient to everyone, have self-control over their desires so alcohol and drugs will not control them. They will live peaceably with everyone. People that have God’s Spirit will not envy other peoples positions at work, they will be content with what God has given them. People who live according to God’s Spirit will not be jealous if other people have something they do not have. The definition of envy is: a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else’s possessions. The definition of jealousy is: resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage, etc., or against another’s success or advantage itself.
In the book of Matthew, Jesus says if you even lust after the other sex, you have committed adultery, and if you hate someone in your heart, you have committed murder. If people are made after the image of a loving and peaceful God, why do we all struggle with these feelings and thoughts we have that make us resentful, bitter, lustful, unforgiving, lovers of things that God never intended for us? Why don’t we live in peace with everyone? Is the problem always someone else that stirs these desires in us? Are we perfect people made after God’s image that always respond in love towards others? If we were, why does the Bible say that all have fallen short of God’s glory? Even born-again believers that have God’s Spirit living in them fall short of God’s glory. I have been a born-again Christian for 35 years and can still not love people as Jesus loves them. I can be impatient, and unforgiving and when I am the Spirit of Jesus will let me know.
Why does all this matter? Jesus said in Matthew 15:16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
Jesus says in Matthew 12: 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Notice Jesus says here, God sees your heart and mind and will judge your life by the words you have spoken and thought. Everything you think in your heart and mind is how you live. Every person who has ever lived has a mind which thinks and reasons. We as humans learn these thoughts by our environment around us. We watch T.V., we read magazines, we listen to our parents as we grow up, we have friends who influence us. We are like sponges that take into our minds all kinds of beliefs and attitudes that influence our character. But do we read the words of Jesus? Do we read the Bible, God’s word to all people? Do we really know what God’s character is like? If we did, why do we not live and think like Jesus does? We do not really believe that Jesus will judge us one day if we refuse to listen to His words for us. Hebrews 9: 27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Jesus is the Savior of the world, but He is also the Judge of the world. Because God is loving and merciful. He has given all people a Way to escape the judgement of our souls. We have all fallen short of God’s glory for our lives, there is no person ever born that has lived a perfect loving life, except Jesus Christ. God has given everyone a chance to repent. God in the Word of God has revealed to everyone the Path for Salvation. Romans 3: 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. Or by trying to be good. Romans 3: 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. The definition of atonement is, the reconciliation of God and humankind through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
John 3: 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So, it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
All of us are born in the flesh, that is our natural character we have from birth. We learn and take into our minds everything around us, except the words of Jesus. John 3: 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.
John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. We hate God’s light because it exposes our sin, but when we choose to let God’s light exposes our sin, and we confess what we are, and choose to repent with the help of the Spirit of Jesus, we will find Salvation and forgiveness. Only Jesus Christ has the authority to forgive sin, because He is the Son of God. John 1: 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
We were all made after God’s image. We have all sinned and fall short of God’s purpose for us. Jesus Christ will judge every individual based on what is in their hearts. God offers all people a chance to repent and believe on Jesus’ atoning death and resurrection from the dead. God offers everyone His Spirit to live and guide their lives. God gives everyone a choice to choose their destiny. How will you respond? God offers no one a reprieve, there is no such thing as complacency in this matter. God created everything just the way He wanted it, and God will end everything just the way He wants to.
2 Timothy 3 New International Version (NIV)- a vision of how people are without Jesus!
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Juan Williams is very pro democrat and he says the most stupid things I have ever heard. He even supports the abortion bill! Pure evil!

Juan, watching Laura Ingraham, you are sharing your views of passing legislation on the security/ border wall/ additional equipment for security etc, you stated President declined to approve the bill, most is correct except you left out a very important fact. President Trump asked Pelosi if they would negotiate security bill within 30day, Pelosi said no….. that is why President Trump did not sign, or approve the bill to open the government… one thing is constant with you, you tell half the story… i usually change the channel when you come on because of your views or half truth statements… I am working full time to stay solvent at 72 thank to Obama and people with attitudes like yours…

I am from El Paso Tx born and raised. I have 2 degrees and put myself through college while working 2 jobs. Before the wall that exists today, I struggled to get to work due to the illegal immigrants running across our highways. Almost in tears as I reached my destination trying not to his anyone with my car. There were people hit and killed back then. The sad part is the person driving the car was sued by the illegal families. On one part of the highway, they would throw sofas on the road or lie down on the road making the driver stop. It was then you were robbed, beaten, or raped. Our police department put out notices on the news that a crisis was occurring and people were being assaulted by illegal immigrants. Today, I can go see my mother without worrying about human beings running in front of my car. The only thing I still worry about are stray bullets that come to El Paso. The wall does not stop the bullets but it helps us to be safe on this side of the border. You have not lived here and have not had to endure a thousand people dropped off in your city without food, water, shelter etc. This just happened in December. We cannot accommodate the number of people coming across the border in these numbers. Our shelters are overflowing and we do not have facilities to take care of them. As for MS-13, they stand in the farmers fields making the workers leave while they stand around the children’s shelters. Our police will not arrest them because we are considered a sanctuary city. The farmers and the workers that work for them are afraid. Perhaps you or some of your colleagues should endure the homelife on the border. It is at its worst. I have lived here over 60 years and cannot believe that Congress has let it get this bad. Shame on everyone!! It is a crisis when Americans die from illegals and the children of illegals are dying. Their parents should have social services remove these kids from them. They purposely put their children in harms way to gain access to our country. If you stop rewarding bad behavior as parents, it will stop. Perhaps they will realize they need to do it the right way if they are not rewarded for putting their child in harms way.

Friday, November 9, 2018 6:13 PM

Juan, I heard you mention gerrymandering yesterday…incorrectly. First, there are TWO SENATORS to each state, no matter what the population. New York has two, California has two, Vermont has two, Maine has two.

Gerrymandering has nothing to do with Senators. And it is actually pronounced as if saying the man’s name Gary as in garymandering although named after the man whose name was Gerry but pronounced Gary.

Search your soul Sir and that of your past! If someone said it is black you would say it’s white. If someone said it was daytime you would say it was nighttime. You are so far left it’s a wonder you don’t tip over. Your facial expressions when another person is speaking are not only comical but offensive and a perfect example of what and who you are. Please excuse yourself from appearing on any future shows. You need to be a thing of the past. I love watching “The Five” but with you on that program it is a chore.

A Short History of Democrats, Republicans, and Racism

The following are a few basic historical facts that every American should know.

Fact: The Republican Party was founded primarily to oppose slavery, and Republicans eventually abolished slavery. The Democratic Party fought them and tried to maintain and expand slavery. The 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery, passed in 1865 with 100% Republican support but only 23% Democrat support in congress.

Why is this indisputable fact so rarely mentioned? PBS documentaries about slavery and the Civil War barely mention it, for example. One can certainly argue that the parties have changed in 150 years (more about that below), but that does not change the historical fact that it was the Democrats who supported slavery and the Republicans who opposed it. And that indisputable fact should not be airbrushed out for fear that it will tarnish the modern Democratic Party.

Had the positions of the parties been the opposite, and the Democrats had fought the Republicans to end slavery, the historical party roles would no doubt be repeated incessantly in these documentaries. Funny how that works.

Fact: During the Civil War era, the “Radical Republicans” were given that name because they wanted to not only end slavery but also to endow the freed slaves with full citizenship, equality, and rights.

Yes, that was indeed a radical idea at the time!

Fact: Lincoln’s Vice President, Andrew Johnson, was a strongly pro-Union (but also pro-slavery) Democrat who had been chosen by Lincoln as a compromise running mate to attract Democrats. After Lincoln was assassinated, Johnson thwarted Republican efforts in Congress to recognize the civil rights of the freed slaves, and Southern Democrats continued to thwart any such efforts for close to a century.

Fact: The 14th Amendment, giving full citizenship to freed slaves, passed in 1868 with 94% Republican support and 0% Democrat support in congress. The 15th Amendment, giving freed slaves the right to vote, passed in 1870 with 100% Republican support and 0% Democrat support in congress.

Regardless of what has happened since then, shouldn’t we be grateful to the Republicans for these Amendments to the Constitution? And shouldn’t we remember which party stood for freedom and which party fiercely opposed it?

Fact: The Ku Klux Klan was originally and primarily an arm of the Southern Democratic Party. Its mission was to terrorize freed slaves and “ni**er-loving” (their words) Republicans who sympathized with them.

Why is this fact conveniently omitted in so many popular histories and depictions of the KKK, including PBS documentaries? Had the KKK been founded by Republicans, that fact would no doubt be repeated constantly on those shows.

Fact: In the 1950s, President Eisenhower, a Republican, integrated the US military and promoted civil rights for minorities. Eisenhower pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1957. One of Eisenhower’s primary political opponents on civil rights prior to 1957 was none other than Lyndon Johnson, then the Democratic Senate Majority Leader. LBJ had voted the straight segregationist line until he changed his position and supported the 1957 Act.

Fact: The historic Civil Rights Act of 1964 was supported by a higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats in both houses of Congress. In the House, 80 percent of the Republicans and 63 percent of the Democrats voted in favor. In the Senate, 82 percent of the Republicans and 69 percent of the Democrats voted for it.

Fact: Contrary to popular misconception, the parties never “switched” on racism. The Democrats just switched from overt racism to a subversive strategy of getting blacks as dependent as possible on government to secure their votes. At the same time, they began a cynical smear campaign to label anyone who opposes their devious strategy as greedy racists.

Following the epic civil rights struggles of the 1960s, the South began a major demographic shift from Democratic to Republican dominance. Many believe that this shift was motivated by racism. While it is certainly true that many Southern racists abandoned the Democratic Party over its new support for racial equality and integration, the notion that they would flock to the Republican Party — which was a century ahead of the Democrats on those issues — makes no sense whatsoever.

Yet virtually every liberal, when pressed on the matter, will inevitably claim that the parties “switched,” and most racist Democrats became Republicans! In their minds, this historical ju jitsu maneuver apparently transfers all the past sins of the Democrats (slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow laws, etc.) onto the Republicans and all the past virtues of the Republicans (e.g., ending slavery) onto the Democrats! That’s quite a feat!

It is true that Barry Goldwater’s opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 probably attracted some racist Democrats to the Republican Party. However, Goldwater was not a racist — at least not an overt racist like so many Southern Democrats of the time, such as George Wallace and Bull Connor. He publicly professed racial equality, and his opposition to the 1964 Act was based on principled grounds of states rights. In any case, his libertarian views were out of step with the mainstream, and he lost the 1964 Presidential election to LBJ in a landslide.

But Goldwater’s opposition to the 1964 Civil Rights Act provided liberals an opening to tar the Republican Party as racist, and they have tenaciously repeated that label so often over the years that it is now the conventional wisdom among liberals. But it is really nothing more than an unsubstantiated myth — a convenient political lie. If the Republican Party was any more racist than the Democratic Party even in 1964, why did a higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats in both houses of Congress vote for the 1964 Civil Rights Act? The idea that Goldwater’s vote on the 1964 Civil Rights Act trumps a century of history of the Republican Party is ridiculous, to say the least.

Every political party has its racists, but the notion that Republicans are more racist than Democrats or any other party is based on nothing more than a constant drumbeat of unsubstantiated innuendo and assertions by Leftists, constantly echoed by the liberal media. It is a classic example of a Big Lie that becomes “true” simply by virtue of being repeated so many times.

A more likely explanation for the long-term shift from Democratic to Republican dominance in the South was the perception, fair or not, that the Democratic Party had rejected traditional Christian religious values and embraced radical secularism. That includes its hardline support for abortion, its rejection of prayer in public schools, its promotion of the gay agenda, and many other issues.

In the 1960s the Democratic Party changed its strategy for dealing with African Americans. Thanks to earlier Republican initiatives on civil rights, blatant racial oppression was no longer a viable political option. Whereas before that time Southern Democrats had overtly and proudly segregated and terrorized blacks, the national Democratic Party decided instead to be more subtle and get them as dependent on government as possible. As LBJ so elegantly put it (in a famous moment of candor that was recorded for posterity), “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” At the same time, the Democrats started a persistent campaign of lies and innuendo, falsely equating any opposition to their welfare state with racism.

From a purely cynical political perspective, the Democratic strategy of black dependence has been extremely effective. LBJ knew exactly what he was doing. African Americans routinely vote well over 90 percent Democratic for fear that Republicans will cut their government benefits and welfare programs. And what is the result? Before LBJ’s Great Society welfare programs, the black illegitimacy rate was as low as 23 percent, but now it has more than tripled to 72 percent.

Most major American city governments have been run by liberal Democrats for decades, and most of those cities have large black sections that are essentially dysfunctional anarchies. Cities like Detroit are overrun by gangs and drug dealers, with burned out homes on every block in some areas. The land values are so low due to crime, blight, and lack of economic opportunity that condemned homes are not even worth rebuilding. Who wants to build a home in an urban war zone? Yet they keep electing liberal Democrats — and blaming “racist” Republicans for their problems!

Washington DC is another city that has been dominated by liberal Democrats for decades. It spends more per capita on students than almost any other city in the world, yet it has some of the worst academic achievement anywhere and is a drug-infested hellhole. Barack Obama would not dream of sending his own precious daughters to the DC public schools, of course — but he assures us that those schools are good enough for everyone else. In fact, Obama was instrumental in killing a popular and effective school voucher program in DC, effectively killing hopes for many poor black families trapped in those dysfunctional public schools. His allegiance to the teachers unions apparently trumps his concern for poor black families.

A strong argument could also be made that Democratic support for perpetual affirmative action is racist. It is, after all, the antithesis of Martin Luther King’s dream of a color-blind society. Not only is it “reverse racism,” but it is based on the premise that African Americans are incapable of competing in the free market on a level playing field. In other words, it is based on the notion of white supremacy, albeit “benevolent” white supremacy rather than the openly hostile white supremacy of the pre-1960s Democratic Party.

The next time someone claims that Republicans are racist and Democrats are not, don’t fall for it.

Does the potential harm to the targets of the bomber fall under the category of ” collateral damage to individuals that do not share our views” as defined by Nancy Pelosi.

juan i do not know where you get your info on illegal migrants, but you should take the time to do your own research instead of being a liberal mouth piece. in the first place they are not immigrants they are law breaking migrants, you are so stupid about the diseaes and crime they bring, not to mention how filthy they are with garbage they leave in other peoples property, my guess is you do not live where they are and have no idea how much normal americans have go through to get their loved one here legally. you should stop being so hard headed and rude to others who have done their homework about subjects to be talked on on the five. you are the reason like so many other liberal jerks who only do lip service for the dnc. get the facts befor you flap you lips or shut up
