“THE PRECEDENT HAS BEEN SET”

Members of the U.S. Army patrol areas ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, September 2005

(Sep. 26, 2015) — In my last Rant, I wrote of the issues our founders had with a “standing army.” I have had some readers question my belief that local “law enforcement” entities are a part of that army.

Of course those of us in SW Colorado who are saddled with Albuquerque news as a primary source are more than familiar with the blatant disregard for the Bill of Rights exhibited on almost a daily basis by the Albuquerque Police Department. We have witnessed ad nauseum the shooting of a homeless man by two police officers and all of the legal maneuverings involved in that case. We have seen where one police officer jumps into a car with another officer during a “drug buy” and shoots that officer multiple times. We have also observed an officer there who attacked a local law student, an attack which led to the loss of a testicle by that student. Of course this officer was also accused of destroying evidence by erasing the video the student had made of that incident on his phone. Ironically, almost all of these incidents are defended by the police and others in government with the main defense of these actions being, “Officers are just doing what they are trained to do.”

Where is this “training” coming from, and who is directing it? would be a logical question. I believe the quote below not only answers that question but also buttresses my assertion local police are part and parcel of a “standing army.”

“Here [in New Mexico], we are moving more toward a national police force. Homeland Security is involved with a lot of little things around town. Somebody in Washington needs to call a timeout.”—Dan Klein, retired Albuquerque Police Department sergeant.

If you still have doubts as to the militarization of local police and their being a part of a “standing army,” I highly recommend the book by John Whitehead of The Rutherford Institute titled, “Battlefield America: The War on the American People.”

Now, back to the subject of this Rant: I contend there is an army of 47 million people in this country who are primed to move into the streets and commit all forms of crimes directed against their fellow citizens. This army requires no training and very little equipment. All it would take to put them into the streets committing this mayhem is a simple act on the part of the centralized government; to wit, the cessation of all forms of Welfare payments.

Our highly-centralized government has used the threat of this army as the possibility of another “government shutdown” approaches. Simply stated, if the representatives of the people do not go along with an increase in funding for this unconstitutional government, 47 million people will not receive the money that belongs to others but has been designated an “entitlement” by the criminals we call politicians.

In case you have forgotten, let me please remind you of the statement by one of these “entitlement” recipients from Florida back in 2008 (Peggy Joseph of Sarasota) after attending a rally for then-presidential candidate Obama, “…I never thought this day would ever happen. I won’t have to worry about puttin’ gas in my car, I won’t have to worry about payin’ my mortgage, you know, if I help him, he’s gonna help me.”

Multiply that sentiment and that mentality by 47 million and you should have a pretty good mental picture of what it would be like should members of that “entitlement” army fail to receive their expected monies.

If you discount somehow the effect of 47 million people taking to the streets demanding that which is stolen from others by politicians, many of whom you voted for, just think back a few months to Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland. Those of us with longer memories will remember the chaos that was Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots. Not to mention, members of this 47 million army are strategically located throughout this country; they are rural as well as urban.

While I don’t know the actual number of members of that army right here in my county, I did learn recently that in our county of approximately 27,000 folks, our welfare bill monthly exceeds one million dollars. Failure to receive those funds and the resultant actions of those who believe they are “entitled” to that money could prove chaotic, even in this small, rural part of the world.

One can only imagine how many members of that “entitlement” army are not even American citizens. There are credible studies out there which indicate there are as many as 30 million illegals in this country. The great majority will not side with the citizens who pay the bills, for many believe they are “entitled” to this land; after all, is this not Aztlan?

While the Libertarians in our midst will claim people should be free to “immigrate” at their will and pleasure, they have no answer as to how that can ever occur peacefully in a welfare-oriented, “entitlement” society.

It is a well-known fact the great majority of members in this “entitlement” army basically live day-to-day with very little thought of how they will provide for themselves three days from now, much less how they will provide and survive if their source of income ceases to exist altogether. It has been stated, in this country we are only 9 meals away from anarchy. Couple this with the fact huge numbers of this army are located in already high-crime areas does not bode well for society.

While we are told “black lives matter,” it is apparent they do not matter in places like Chicago, where over 500, mostly Blacks, meet violent deaths every year. It would be interesting to find out how many of the perpetrators of this crime and mayhem are already members of the “entitlement” army.

What will happen to that chaos when regular welfare items are suddenly not there? This charade cannot go on forever; we are rapidly approaching the point where it will be necessary to borrow money to pay the interest on our ever-increasing debt. Therefore, the attack of the “entitlement” army can only be delayed; it cannot be eliminated.

But, not to worry, when the chaos spills over into other communities as it did in New Orleans in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, the police who are left will not protect citizens from attacks by this army—they will be too busy confiscating legally-owned firearms from those who could be the next victims of the “entitlement” army.

The precedent has been set: the police, the military, and the scourge of privately-contracted government forces (Blackwater was active in New Orleans) will be set loose on those who are trying to survive the onslaught of the “entitlement” army. After all, the police, military and government contractors are actually members of the same army; all live on stolen dollars from others, worship the god called government and will do whatever is necessary to protect their income stream.

In Rightful Liberty.

Not everyone is a Citizen.
A “CITIZEN” is a lesser government agent subject to the jurisdiction
Prior to the 14th amendment, there was no such thing as a US CITIZEN
This was how they enslaved everyone while giving the illusion of freeing the slaves.
UNITED STATES is a Corporation.
The Act of 1871 Created it’s existence and made every state a sub-corporation.
Being a CITIZEN with your name in all caps makes you a lesser government employee, otherwise known as a slave.
I am a man created in the image of my creator recognized as an American National, non-citizen alien. That means not subject to the jurisdiction as specified in the 14th amendment.
You choose you path.
Choose wisely.
And Walk Sacred,
mp

ps, The ASPCA kills animals and pays others to kill one it adopts and “rescues”. only 4% of their funding supports pets in any way. http://www.activistfacts.com/organizations-american-society-for-the-prevention-of-crualty-of-animals-aspca/

Dear Michael,
Your “rants” are spot-on, and this one should be required reading before anyone casts a ballot, but that would be called a “Poll Tax”, now wouldn’t it? So what we’re left with, basically, are illiterate voters or, as with most of the students who graduate from high schools these days, functionally illiterate voters who go completely bonkers; bananas; discombobulated when confronted with the suggestion that a voter must have an I.D.
Hello? Is anyone in America home? What do you think a Social Security card is? Oh, that’s right, with the exception of Obama who has successfully used a STOLEN Social Security number for years.
Eric Holder, our monumental failure of an ex-Attorney General, failed to prosecute Obama for Identity Theft, so why should any subsequent AG do any different?
Make me the AG and let’s see what happens.
The police in Mexico wear Army uniforms, so why should we act any different?
“To Protect and Serve”. Right.
Remember, the cop’s gun is to protect themselves. You got to protect yourself and your family.
We understand that most law enforcement officers are good people who are trying to do the right thing, but with this billion-dollar system of “justice” in America it’s getting REALLY hard to distinguish the White Hats from the Black Hats.
When I was running for president in 2012 I had Federal Judges rule that I, OPOVV, did not have “standing” to know if Obama was eligible to serve as POTUS or not. Unbelievable! Heck, I have a town in Oklahoma named after my great grandfather who married the Chief’s daughter. My mother and father were both born in America by American citizens. Everyone a citizen! “No standing”! Hogwash.
I told my wife that I’d like to make another run at being the president but she said, “Once is enough”. But, let’s look at the positive side: I raised some money for the ASPCA and the USO.
Support the 2nd Amendment by being armed TO THE TEETH.
Excellent editorial.
Sincerely,
