“Passionate About the Pursuit of Liberty”

AND PROSECUTION FOR CRIMINALS

(Jul. 16, 2013) — This administration is so embedded in scandal that a breathtaking discovery of government corruption is going largely unnoticed. The ‪#‎IRS‬ investigation has now uncovered, “unidentified government officials took part in ‘unauthorized access or disclosure of tax records of political donors or candidates,’ including one case he described as willful.”

Willfully disclosing tax records? Targeting of political donors? Harassing Conservative groups? This is an incredible breach of the Constitutional contract between our government & the citizens. During my tenure in the Secret Service I learned a valuable lesson about the bureaucratic fog that hangs over government agencies; nothing significant happens without layers of management vetting the decision. I am convinced that this obvious case of political targeting had political origins.

When the smoke clears & this administration’s time in office is up, people will begin to speak out as I have. I have spoken with many who are growing increasingly frustrated with the continued abuses of power and the public misdirection. The only way to prevent the further degeneration of our Constitutionally guaranteed liberties is to push for criminal prosecution for anyone shown to have used & abused the tools of government for any political purpose. This will all stop when the handcuffs come out & the penalties are real rather than just idle promises of action.

It’s time to get rid of those passionate about the pursuit of power & replace them with those passionate about the pursuit of liberty.
