On April 27, 2011, the White House released what it claimed was Obama’s long-form birth certificate to quell doubts about his birthplace, citizenship and eligibility for the presidency. However, in March 2012, a law enforcement investigation found that the image was a “computer-generated forgery” which no media company or congressional committee has been willing to investigate.
