Breaking: Petition to Congress Demands Recount of 2012 Presidential Election

(Nov. 10, 2012) — A petition has been initiated which asserts that a full recount of the ballots from the 2012 presidential election be carried out as redress against the grievance of voter fraud.
Letters to one’s U.S. representative and senators can also be sent in addition to the generic letter.
The petition cites the questionable election results for Congressman Allen West, who has insisted on a full hand recount of ballot in St. Lucie County, where a much higher percentage of votes were counted than people registered to vote. West also maintained that military ballots had not been included in the totals which showed his opponent, Patrick Murphy, as the winner.
Various bloggers, websites and election analysts are producing evidence that the vote count on Tuesday night could not have been accurate given that more than 100% of registered voters in many wards and precincts and unrealistically high percentages of votes being won by Obama in certain wards were apparently not questioned.
Obama had been facing much smaller crowds during his campaign rallies leading up to the election, and the University of Colorado, which has correctly predicted the outcome of all presidential elections since 1980, had stated that Romney would win handily. Obama reportedly won the election by approximately 3,000,000 votes across the country and all of the swing states except North Carolina.
It was reported in September that 24,000,000 voter registrations in the United States were invalid.
The number of signatures on the petition has risen by several hundred since the composing of this article began.
Comments left by signers of the petition include “Just doesn’t add up;” “The fact that our military’s ballots weren’t counted is a disgrace!” and “Not just a recount, I want all absentee military ballots counted, even if late.”
With the market decrease in enthusiasm for Obama’s agenda in 2012 over 2008, what are the chances that he would have won nearly all of the “battleground” states?
Did Mitt Romney have good reason to be “shellshocked?”
