ANOTHER MEDIA BLACKOUT?

by Sharon Rondeau

(Mar. 26, 2012) — A search for “Obama Korea Summit 2012” photos using the Yahoo! search engine brings up photos from a 2010 summit held in Washington, DC in 2010 and a 2012 Obama campaign poster.  Three news articles appear denoting his visit to the Demilitarized Zone on Sunday but nothing current.

The fourth story down reflects news from Friday announcing Obama’s appointment to the World Bank.

UPI provides Obama’s schedule for today but shows a photo of his departure to attend the summit from last Friday.

An AP photo shows Obama and Russian President Dmitri Medvedev in a photo op, presumably after they were overheard on an open microphone discussing a reduction in nuclear defense after Obama’s presumed re-election.  “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility,” Obama was heard to say.  Video of the exchange is here courtesy of ABC News.  Reuters also reported the incident.  Mitt Romney, a Republican presidential candidate, criticized Obama’s comments by stating that Obama “needs to level with the American public about his real agenda.”

Machiavellianism is sometimes defined as “a person’s tendency to deceive and manipulate other people for their personal gain.”  While at the summit, Medveyev invited Obama to visit Russia, and the two appeared friendly.

Obama reportedly gave North Korea an ultimatum consisting “Pursue peace or face the consequences.”

Much of the mainstream media continues its blackout on reporting the alleged forgery of Obama’s long-form birth certificate which is being pursued by the Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff’s Department.  Some content about Obama’s alleged fraud is published, then removed.

Update, March 26, 2012, 9:55 p.m. EDT:  A photo of Obama and South Korea’s President Lee Myung-bak was published earlier today following initial publication of this article, although Obama’s face is not shown.  Why?
