“TO STAND IN DEFENSE OF THE PEOPLE”

by Dan O’Brien

Thomas Jefferson was the third President of the United States and said, "The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object."

(May 21, 2011) — Author’s Note: This is the first of a series of hyphenated articles to the County Stronghold concept.   Comments on my first County Stronghold article helped to indicate where greater explanation is needed, and I hope to fill that need during the coming months.

Definition

The County Stronghold1 is meant to be embodied in a volunteer organization of local People that recognize, in contrast to our founding documents, the utter lack of law for the security and protection of the unalienable and sovereign Rights of the People, and to fulfill that need within their county according to its unique requirements and resources.

Problem

Today’s county government is merely an element of the mock U.S. government2 seated in D.C. by a private cabal3 of international bankers using Admiralty Law4 to extract profits and property from artificial persons5.  (Please view the excellent ten-minute video, “Understanding How Admiralty And Common Law Apply To You”6.)

The County Stronghold recognizes that Americans, with few exceptions, are perceived to be artificial persons in voluntary servitude7, 8 to the United States as territorial citizens under its 14th Amendment in exchange for eligibility to receive governmental privileges and benefits.  This assumption is confirmed by the existence of that individual’s name, (usually written in all capital letters), on certificates, registrations, licenses and etc., held by the de facto government.

Mission

The County Stronghold mission, therefore, is to stand in defense of the People against these mechanizations of the de facto “United States” government, by:

  • Establishing a separate and lawful jurisdiction of, by and for sovereigns, for the security and protection of their unalienable Rights, based primarily on the “Common Law9,” its courts and juries;
  • Formally processing individual complaints against the de facto judicial system(s);
  • Opposing inappropriate usage of de facto commercial statutes against sovereigns through use of inapplicability, nullification10 and other lawful remedies;
  • Seeking means to reactivate elements of the de jure American government.
  • Serving as a model to others wishing to alleviate this web of de facto government deceit in their counties.

Notes

1County Stronghold. See article, “County Stronghold Initiative (A proposal):” http://www.thepostemail.com/2011/05/14/county-stronghold-initiative/.

2Mock United States government.  An active, private, internationally owned corporation created by Congress and established in the District of Columbia by the Organic Act of 1871, under the authority of Article I, Section 8, clause 17 of the U.S. Constitution, entitled the “United States” (though not the United States of America) that

  • Mocks the functions of the several governments of the United States of America that had been suspended on March 28, 1861,
  • Uses a mock version of the 1787 U.S. Constitution as its authority,
  • Appears to mock state and local governments with nebulous (i.e. borderless) administrative entities, undoubtedly all based in D.C.

3Cabal.  The artifices and intrigues of a group of persons secretly united to bring about an overturn or usurpation esp. in public affairs; also: a group engaged in such artifices and intrigues. – Merriam Webster’s Collegiate, 10th Ed.

4Admiralty (law) court. A court exercising jurisdiction over all maritime contracts, torts, injuries, or offenses.  Federal district courts have jurisdiction over admiralty and maritime actions.  28 U.S.C.A. Sec. 1333.  Procedure in such  actions is governed by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Supplementary Admiralty Rules. – Black’s Law, 5th Ed.

5Artificial persons.  Persons created and devised by human laws for the purposes of society and government, as distinguished from natural persons.  Corporations are examples of artificial persons. – Black’s Law, 5th Ed.

7Voluntary servitude. The state of a person who is subjected … to another person as his servant. – Black’s Law, 5th Ed. (Note that this is in contradistinction to involuntary servitude generally prohibited by the 13th Amendment.)

8Voluntary servitude: See a booklet, “The Politics of Obedience: The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude” written c1550 by Etienne de la Boetie, with Introduction by Murray N. Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises Institute, #SKU SS374 at www.mises.org that “cuts to the heart of what is, or rather should be, the central problem of political philosophy: the mystery of civil obedience.” – Murray Rothbard.  A fascinating analysis by De la Boetie.

9Common Law. As distinguished from law created by the enactment of legislatures, the common law comprises the body of those principles and rules of action, relating to the government and security of persons and property, which derive their authority solely from usages and customs of immemorial antiquity, or from the judgments and decrees of the courts recognizing, affirming, and enforcing such usages and customs; and, in this sense, particularly the ancient, unwritten law of England.  The “common law” is all the statutory and case law background of England and the American colonies before the American Revolution.  People v. Rehman, 253 C.A.2d 119, 61 Cal.Rptr. 65, 85.  “Common law” consists of those principles, usage and rules of action applicable to government and security of persons and their property, which do not rest for their authority upon any express and positive declaration of the will of the legislature.  Bishop v. U.S., D.C.Tex., 334 F.Supp. 415, 418. – Black’s Law, 5th Ed.

10Nullification. The process of nullification and the authority to do so is thoroughly described in the recent book by Thomas E. Woods, Jr., “Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century” which I highly recommend reading.

Mission: stand in defense by being well armed. Every citizen shall be required to own a multiple collection of firearms, i.e., shotgun, handgun, rifle w/scope, and practice weapon safety and target practice until proficient.
Dreaming of taking our country back from traitors and the enemy will only happen if we are willing to fight for it. They, government employees (and everyone else) who support the Obama regime, have everything to lose, their freedom and/or their lives, will, and are, expected to fight back, therefore it is incumbent to make a list of primary and secondary targets in your particular area. Remain alert, because you better believe our enemy is.
