THE MILITARY SHOULD BE ON THE SIDE OF THE PEOPLE, NOT THE POLITICIANS

by One Pissed-off Vietnam Vet

Has our citizen military forgotten the citizens?

(May 10, 2011) — They carted LTC Terry Lakin off to prison because he asked to see the proof that our bogus president wasn’t an illegal immigrant who is using a false Social Security card and presenting fake birth certificates while the rest of the military looks on and does… nothing. And people don’t think something is rotten in Denmark?

How can it possibly be that I see Obama as the worst person who could possibly hold the office of president, while others bestow precious gifts upon him?  Nobel Peace Prize? But then reality set in when Chicago lost the Olympic bid, now, didn’t it? Over four dollars for a gallon of gas? Unemployment, food prices soaring. Want to blame Bush? Well, sure, if it makes you feel better, blame Bush.

We kick Saddam Hussein off his throne and where’s the cheap oil? Well, now, we really shouldn’t blame others for our mistakes: we’ve known for years about our dependence on Arab oil and we are really paying the price ($4.19 in my neighborhood). Too bad for us, no doubt. But if you just happen to have a bunch of oil stock…

And if you want to start a debate on how wonderful nuclear energy is, don’t.  Thank you for not wasting everyone’s time.

Homosexuals openly allowed in our military, women on a Navy man-of-war and, soon, Navy Chaplains performing same-sex marriages. Truth is, in combat what you don’t want to do is let the other guy down, and you just hope he feels the same about his role. If everyone’s on the same page, no problem, but if you’re not? See, I don’t know. When I was in, we were on the same page. We had to be; we kept one another together, as it were.

Even though we all came from every part of America you can imagine, we became a team. Critiquing one another’s Dear John letter was a helpful emotional release, and, looking back on it, a bonding experience. And then each of us volunteered for military duty: none of us were drafted. In the beginning we went out to save the world, but in a battle in 1965 I saw the writing on the wall: when politicians stick their noses where they don’t belong, nothing good comes of it.

Which is where our military is today. For America, there’s no question that a citizen military is the way to go, but even though the draft was good for the country, the exceptions, deferments, excuses, and pacifists killed a noble idea and, thanks once again to our politicians, who did whatever they could to get reelected and the heck with the good of the country, patriotism and responsibility.

So now what? Obviously, the Joint Chiefs of Staff are in bed with Obama and his gang of thieves. We need our military to reflect America, and, unfortunately, it may just be doing that with having marched LTC Lakin into Leavenworth and keeping him there. You know, at any time the jailers could have set Lakin free.

We would like to have the assistance of our military to kick the crooks out of government. But if the officers are afraid to lead, then it’s up to the enlisted ranks to join patriotic Americans to clean up this mess, for if this den of thieves and Sharia-pushers aren’t routed, bye-bye, Miss American Pie.

  3. To put this in perspective, what if a general declared war and no-one turned up? Obviously, this caliber of loyalty to us or each other is not present in either the armed or police forces.

Imagine receiving orders to deploy and during preparation, a fellow soldier (Hassan) opens fire and kills a bunch of your unarmed buddies. Where is / was the sense of indignation at the way brass insulted your buddies by playing down the actions of Hassan. Or the anger over the president and big brass asking everyone not to jump to conclusions, not even acknowledging the alahu akbar you heard very loudly and very clearly. To this day, the dead (including an unborn child) have not been given justice. If that wasn’t enough to spur the regular soldier into action, I ‘m not kidding myself that they will act for my rights.

I know for a fact that Oathkeepers are aware of what is going on in Tennessee because I have personally told them about Lt Col Fitzpatrick on several occasions and pleaded for their help. Oathkeepers is nothing but a mutual admiration society of lily-livered girly men. They try very hard to portray themselves as macho but when the opportunity arose to put them to the test, they were too busy applying lipstick and adjusting their bras.

I spit on them and their coin game. They were all trained, fed, educated and medically treated on my dollar and the investment returned nothing but disappointment and disgust.

    1. The root cause of the problems we face today can be traced to one cause: blind ignorance. Now you and I know, and there are some others, that Islam is the enemy, that Islam isn’t some religion of “peace” but rather a distinct political philosophy that is totalitarian in nature and, as such, is at odds with our Constituion.
That said, why there are Muslims in our military is beyond criminally stupid: it is a charge for treson. Starting with the recruiter and going up the chain of command, everyone who had/has a hand in accepting a Muslim should be put against the wall and shot.
What went down in Ft. Hood was no surprise. What was the surprise, however, is why someone didn’t walk up to the S.O.B. and empty a clip into his head, and then stick a hot dog or, better yet, a pork chop in his mouth.
If I were the president, I’d kick every Muslim out of the military and out of the country, with no pay, no V.A. or G.I. Bill benifits. And if they made a fuss, shoot them as enemy combatants.

  4. Osama has now released his records, why don’t we have Obama’s??? as he continues to ruin America. So you are correct OPoVV when you say… “Obviously, the Joint Chiefs of Staff are in bed with Obama and his gang of thieves”.

  5. I once thought the military would be on the side of the people if a tyrant such as Obama were able to illegally steal the presidency. Big surprise, apparently getting paid and the thought of retirement, or maybe college tuition paid, is enough for much of the military to close their eyes to whatever is occurring and to take orders from an illegal commander in chief.

Yep, America is in deep trouble.

  6. But if the officers are afraid to lead … it’s up to the enlisted ranks to join patriotic Americans to clean up the mess…

Most notably in countries of third world economy level the junior rank officers make the necessary move and not the senior officers that are contently feed by career politicians.

To clean up the mess of the dirty politicians in our government it is not by sheer number of patriotic military soldiers that is require to initiate the protest. There is no need for great military forces whether from battallion to division strengths to enforce it. In fact, in small number of military strength that have protested they have succeeded to effect the changes in their corrupted government. Even in small strength that came up short of their objective they are not traited with treason charges. Example of successful and the not so successful military protest in the past are found in Northern Asian countries. The protesting small military led by their junior officers were able to make their stand inside military fort, hotels, and malls. It looks like third world countries techniques for American military protest to succeed and it should be adopted. The might of American military forces are proven in wars. The bravery of small number enlisted military personnel is enough force to deal the government enemy within.

The conviction for truth – justice with unflincing will to depend the American Constitution and rights of Sovereign people is the courage that make enlisted military ranks fearless regardless of the outcome. There’s not a need for special forces of SEAL’s, Rangers, Delta, and Night Stalkers in the fight. None of the senior military officers will do it for their fidelity are on the side of politicians. It comes from the leadership of a non-commissioned officer to junior officers that patriotic bravery resides. The plan of action is do we take arms as the Middle Eastern, Northern Asians, and Hondurians do it by force or we sit and read instead on taking out the crook politicians in our government?

To one pissed-off Viet veteran to the bravest enlisted miltary personnel to patriotic citizens the fight is worth dying for. Our America foot forward our bravest warriors now and save our country for time is overdue to stand tall in this battle to save You!

” Any people anywhere being inclined and having the power have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world”. – Lincoln’s, 1861 Inaugural Address

      1. And the sad part is that it was totally unnecessary, but instead it was done deliberately by obama and his thugs who wanted lots of cover, smoke and mirrors to hide their thefts of trillions of taxpayer dollars.

  7. I had several exchanges with active duty JAGs during the pre-trial stages on Lt. Col. Lakin’s prosecution. Their position was pathetic to say the least. No sense of duty to preserve or protect the Constitution and no overarching duty to see that justice occurred in the trial. Their position was in lock step with the Administration, constructing phony arguments that it didn’t matter whether Obama was a legal President. Essentially what they maintained is that an imposter CIC’s orders are legal and had to be obeyed. Rather than prosecuting Lt. Col. Lakin, their legal responsibility was to remove the imposter from office. After all, the last stop for the American people in this sort of situation is the military and they have failed us miserably and they need be tried for teason. If we only had a supreme court and military like the folks do in Honduras. This is the text book example of how a usurper should be dealt with.

    1. The military has a tradition of “coining”. Each ranking officer gives out coins for rewards or meritorious service. The coins have unit insignias and rank. The game is to collect (over one’s military career) the most coins from the highest ranks. They have no intrinsic value. Mostly sentimental value and bragging rights. For instance, two soldiers are standing at a bar and one slaps down a coin. The other must produce a military coin of higher value and rank or he buys the next round! I have a feeling that the officer in the picture and de facto President are merely exchanging military coins, as a courtesy. The officer doesn’t want to buy any more rounds at his next bar visit!

The question is, why would ANY military officer in this man’s Army want a coin from the de facto President? I think it abundantly clear our officers are woefully and willfully ignorant of Constitutional and Natural Law. This is a shame.

There is no greater ignorance than willful ignorance.
