“YOUR SILENCE IS DEAFENING”

Dear Editor:
The following letter was sent to Mr. David Martin, Vice President of the Media Research Center, which claims on its website that it seeks to expose liberal media bias and the threat of censorship of conservatives.
Dear David,
I am a 20-year military service disabled vet and I am writing you for hopefully an explanation of how incredibly silent the Media Research Center is on voicing their collective opinion about Barack Obama’s eligibility dilemma publicly and to the media in general. Your quiet stance on this issue is deafening. I had some communication a few weeks ago from one of your underlings….but his opinion was that the MRC has done EXTENSIVE research into this affair……and you find nothing out of place…it’s a non-story as far as MRC is concerned.
Here’s the problem with why this CAN’T be your position:
I have been fighting this fight for two years now with A LOT of very special American patriots by my side that I have met along the way……having the recently imprisoned Army Flight Surgeon, Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, be dragged off to Leavenworth at Christmas was, for me, the final straw. Being a very close friend….he called me right before he was taken away & him (my hero) telling me (I’m HIS hero!!) was one of the most special things anyone has ever said to me. SOMEDAY!! Lt. Col. Terry Lakin will be shown in the history books to be the HERO he is….not the number 89996 he is at Leavenworth!
But I digress…sorry…….the MRC is such a powerful force right now…..and your “successes” at showing the liberal media for what they are are admirable, to say the least. But we in the birther movement (that’s 60% of America, may I remind you) gave so much hope that the MRC would “support” our cause to get Mr. Obama to authorize the disclosure of his REAL and VERIFIABLE LONG FORM Birth Certificate…..but to this day…..as I said, your silence on this issue is not only deafening, but honestly just as scary as the hiding of this pathetic $20 piece of paper! I think it’s wonderful that you are trying to shake the Hill up and get things back to some sort of normalcy…..but My God, David…..DO YOU HONESTLY FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS SITUATION BEING UNRESOLVED? EVEN THE LIBERAL MEDIA IS SAYING IN HUSHED TONES….”GEE, MR. OBAMA…SHOWING US YOUR LONG FORM WOULD SURE BE SWEET SO WE CAN GET THESE CRAZY BIRTHERS OFF OUR BACK!!”
So……I do not wish to demean who you are …or what you have done so far…..but SOMEONE !! SOMEONE!! in that insane town needs to stand up to the media and The President…and with all the diplomacy you can muster…..ask the President what is CRITICAL to get on with any sense of normalcy and decency on this topic……..are we being led like lambs to slaughter by a usurper?
The MRC executives need to call a press conference….invite tons of media & ask this simple question….“Mr. Obama, we are being deluged by our MRC constituents who still believe there is something amiss when you won’t authorize the State of Hawaii from releasing your long form birth certificate…..the Certification of Live Birth posted on the internet is not sufficient to quell the concern……if there is nothing on the long form that you are worried about ………..WILL YOU AUTHORIZE THE STATE OF HAWAII TO RELEASE THE LONG FORM TO THE PUBLIC SO THIS WHOLE CONTROVERSY CAN BE RESOLVED”?
It is a simple question…..it is a simple request…..and if it gets up the President’s nose that some “upstart” group of MRC pain-in-the-necks had the AUDACITY to question his eligibility…remind the President a) he works for his American constituents and b) Mr. Obama might be a perfect example of a Hawaiian baby and all this birther hoopla might be a bunch of malarkey…………but I and my band of brothers will NOT…will NOT…take the word of that imbecile, Robert Gibbs, who mocks anyone in the press when they bring it up……and we will NOT…will NOT…take the word of some website that purports to have THE truth about his birth by showing us a copy of a Certification of Live Birth…..(I will digress for a moment…..do you realize that Obama’s sister who admits she was born in Indonesia……guess who has a Certification of Live Birth from Hawaii….that’s right….HER!! Don’t believe me….check it out for yourself.)
Here is why it’s not enough to fight him on just the issues that the MRC tend to concentrate on….I asked Terry when I first emailed him WHY in God’s name he was doing this…and his response was so simple…I had to sit down…..”Because the Constitution is more important than me”. I never questioned his cause after that.
So….David…how important are the requirements of the Presidency in the Constitution to the MRC?
If Obama IS ever asked that question above….and the world waits with held breath for his answer….and he comes back with…”No…..I won’t show you my long form”….then I GUARANTEE that he will lose the 2012 election. Then it’s from HIS MOUTH that he does not want the American people to see what should have been vetted back in 2008…..and I doubt VERY seriously he will be given a chance to get us again. Why do you think 12+ states are trying to enact legislation that ALL candidates must show their long form to be eligible in 2012? Because they have nothing else to do?
Further…then I’ll leave you…….what a HERO!!!!!!! The MRC would be to just about every American who can’t stand Obama….that it was YOU who had the “backbone” to stand up to him and ask THAT all-important question……you don’t think you will get 10 zillion brownie points for doing that????? And apparently brownie points are the life-blood of DC politics….no?
Just to show you I’m not alone with these thoughts….as I was writing this….my very good friend, Lt. Col. Lakin’s spokeswoman, Margaret “Ducky” Hemenway, just wrote me about this…….and here’s her email (hot off the presses)
Gordon- no more “beat Obama on the issues”- after ObamaCare, stimulus, financial regulation- Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Repeal and START- my short response is “You Gotta Be Kidding Me!!” and “COP-OUT!”
They’ve LOST on ALL the issues so far- Harry Reid controls the Senate- Obama has the veto pen- my question for them- so are the Republican Establishment and The Tea Party going to give Obama a clear path to a second term? They are NOT going to challenge his lack of any proof he’s legally serving? And what was that little exercise about reading the Constitution on the floor of the House- a bone to toss to the Tea Parties? We’re NOT biting. The Constitution and the rule of law IS an issue- because the fish rots at the head- and if they are going to ignore the sucking chest wound, the body whole cannot survive. Please contact the Tea Party and MRC, Gordon……..this can’t stand them playing the ostrich!!

As I said, I am a disabled vet, and that doesn’t give me any special treatment….but I will tell you this….I didn’t get spit on at the San Francisco airport back in the 70’s to have someone in that Oval Office who is the “Commander in Chief” not be legal for my present brothers in the military……………with or without you…it’s NOT going to happen.

Pure and simple. There is not a single photo or document supporting the Obama Story. Half-wit lawyers who promote the Kenya or Hawaii birth have gone to court and left with their tail between their legs. Yet these lawyers continue to promote the Kenya or Hawaii birth claims. It is all a gigantic hoax on America. Just look at a closeup of Obama and see the Chinese Asian eyes.

How would that prove where he was born? You can be an Asian, yet been born anywhere in the world.
Guesswork about Soetoro’s actual racial background (some say African, others say Arab, you say Asian, whatever the mix is, doesn’t matter) does not shed one lumen of light on the question of his birthplace.
Until we see the actual birth certificate, one guess is as good as the next.

That was mostly because they, in my humble opinion, tackled the wrong issues (in part) and weren’t properly prepared to counter the courts’ “no standing” tactics. No case went as far as reaching the heart of the matter, i.e. the actual birthplace.
Great letter-but maybe you should have reminded him that in April 08-the very question was asked of McCain as to his eligibility by the Dem Senate to which McCain produced his long form birth certificate! Isnt the liberal establishment all for “reciprocity” and “fairness”? As a result of that inquisition SR511 was adopted and in its last two lines provides us with the definition that “natural born citizens” are “born to American citizens”. Simple enough-we just want the same level of inquiry into Mr. Obama as was done to McCain-fair is fair-

In my humble opinion Daniel Cutulla, once some sanity is restored, and obama is exposed and in prison, then I truly believe that the Lt. Col. Lakin’s railroading will all be reversed, including back pay, and all his rights, “as if it never happened”, and then we should pray that he would consider running for President. We certainly do know that he is intelligent, articulate, trust worthy, and most competent. It would be a wonderful thing for a recovering America.
Gordon, I consider Lt. Col. Lakin as being Obama’s political prisoner, sad to say. Obama’s serpentine silence has locked up this outstanding American patriot, who follows in the footsteps of Patrick Henry. How American patriots can stand by and allow this hero to be locked up in Leavenworth is beyond belief, but it’s happening right now. Rise up military veterans and civilian patriots and head for the streets. This can’t continue to go on! We’re loosing our great and honorable Republic!
As far as that traitor Robert Gibbs goes, he claimed to be the one who posted that phony “Certification of Live Birth” on the Internet, instead of a genuine Hawaiian “Certificate of Live Birth,” which is a useless piece of paper anyway. I agree the stronger argument is that Obama admits he was born a British subject and that obviously means he can not be a NBC. He obfuscates with claiming he is a native born. But native born is much different from Natural Born Citizen.
The easiest argument is that Obama cannot be a “natural born Citizen”. However, IMHO, the best argument is that Obama has pertetrated the worst fraud in history against “We the people…”.
Obama researcher, I disagree, the letter does not miss the point. You’re looking at it from just one angle. There are numerous. There are several ways that obama is not eligible. One, he’s not natural born because his father is British. He may not have been born in Hawaii,(most likely he was not) He moved to Indonesia and became an Indonesian citizen, He came back to the US and did not become a US citizen. He applied to college as a foreigner (which he was at the time, actually, he still is) He has traveled on passports as a citizen of at least one country other than the US. He does not now possess a valid US Passport. He is using an illegal (to him) Social Security number. In short, there is nothing real about obama. He definitely is not the president of the USA and never will be. At the very least, he is an illegal alien.
The Indonesia angle (that Obama lost his US citizenship when he moved with his parents to Indonesia and became an Indonesian citizen) is not valid. The 1939 Supreme Court case of Perkins v. Elg ruled that a US citizen child cannot have his citizenship taken away by the actions of his parents. Marie Elg was born in 1907 to US citizen parents (they were Swedish immigrants who naturalized in 1906). Marie was taken back to Sweden and made into a Swedish citizen. She came back to the US at majority and was denied US citizenship. Her case made it to the Supreme Court and they ruled that she never lost her US citizenship. They also affirmed her to be a natural born citizen.
There is no long form birth certificate. There is no short form birth certificate. There is no evidence whatsoever that the putative President BO is even an American citizen. I doubt he is a legal American citizen. That postage stamp COLB Gibbs released is fake. The Government of Hawaii could not of have issued a COLB because there is nothing in the vaults for this liar. Has Hawaii ever “officially stated” that the internet COLB is legitimate? No. We now know there is nothing on this man in Hawaii thanks to Governor Abercrombie. NOTHING. There is a place for people that defraud whole systems and that is with Mobarrack and Gaddafi in exile. This PBO fraud stinks all the way to heaven.
This letter misses the point. This is the perfect example of falling into the trap. We will no where with this argument.
First to be NBC it takes both parents to be citizens. Obamas father was not a citizen therefore Obama is NOT a NBC. No matter what his birth certificate says. He is not eligible to be president and we have a super Constitutional Crisis. Obama does not hold the office per the LAW. He is not Lawfully president and therefore all that he does is null and void according to the LAW.
Everyone swears an Oath to Protect and Defend the Constitution. But no one does it. Please the NMR is wrong is saying there is nothing to the Birther issue. There is EVERYTHING according to the TRUTH that Obama is not and can never be a NBC.
Obama himself admits he was born a British Subject. Ask youself if the founders of this country after fighting 8 years of war of Independence from England would allow a British born subject to be President. Of course NOT. He is not a NBC. With a president who is not lawfully in office all our laws and all our treaties and everything the military does is all against the law. Technically America is guilty of war crimes because the President is not legally in office. This is a cataclismic catastrophty for our country. It is imperative that it be corrected ASAP.

I asked the governor of Louisiana to be sure Louisiana passed that law, but he’s not interested. Guess why? (Bobby Jindal, not an NBC)
Ed… I cannot get verification through federal election law that states that a presidential candidate must be on the ballot in all 50 states. I have found a couple of websites that indicate one must be on all 50 ballots, but can’t find an FEC law that states it.

Can anyone verify through federal election laws that one must appear on all 50 ballots…. I can not.
It’s Not True that a presidential candidate has to be on the ballot of all 50 states.
It’s rare for a 3rd party candidate get on the ballot of all 50 states.
In 2008 the Libertarian Party did make it on all 50, the Constitution Party had 37, and the Green Party had 32.
Smaller 3rd parties rarely get on more than 10 states

That is not what the Constitution says. The 12th Amendment clearly states:
“The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed […]”
There is no constitutional provision the presidential candidate must be on the ballot in every state. I wish people (such as the blogger you link to) would properly argue their positions instead of just stating their opinions as facts without regard to the Constitution.
Your second link seems to state so as well but also does not give any sources for its statement of “all must appear on each state’s separate ballot”.
@ Daniel… I agree 100%. There are so many lies on the internet, you can’t find the truth even if you honestly search for it. My opinion on the subject however is that even if not required, it would be extremely odd for a DNC candidate to disenfranchise voters from any state.
Can anyone imagine Barry not getting on a state’s ballot because he still refuses to release the long form? Would the media even cover such a national noteworthy event? Based on his actions thus far, it doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibilities.
The Socialist Workers Party made it onto the ballot of 5 states (one of which was NJ) in 2008. Roger Calero was their nominee for President. Oh, and Mr. Calero was born in Nicaragua and was not a US citizen. He got onto the ballot because the Secretaries of State of these 5 states flat out did not do their job, which is to make sure that candidates are eligible.
By the way-Brett Baier says Jindal is eligible-send him an e-mail see if you get the same reply that I did. I told him to ask Jindal himself-coincidently after that I didnt see any more of that 12 for 2012 series.
