Unless otherwise noted, The Post & Email claims U.S. and international copyright to all content at the site written by staff of The Post & Email, and restricts its use such that no one may reproduce its content in any medium, for any purpose without express permission.

Syndicated writers who submit their work to The Post & Email for publication retain their own copyrights but receive no remuneration from The Post & Email.  The same applies to those who submit their work for our “Blog of the Day” and Editorial sections; their work is published at our site as a professional courtesy.

Since The Post & Email recognizes that distribution of its content can assist in name recognition and the acquirement of new readers at the site, it has established the following policy.

Citation Policy

The Post & Email allows writers to cite several passages from any single written article as long as the citations are part-and-parcel of a larger written work authored by the writer himself.  Citation must be given as a link or mention of the URL of the article published by The Post & Email.  This is the Fair Use Standard.

How to Get Free daily notices by RSS Feed or Email of our publications

You can do this in two ways, through an RSS feed (if you are a subscribed member of Feedburner), or through email directly through The Post & Email.

To Subcribe through an RSS feed, go to the left-most side of the the upper-most bar of the current page you are on, and choose Subcribe via RSS or email.  Both of these options use Feedburner’s free service.

To Subscribe via email, through The Post & Email, go to the Front Page, and use the subscription form at the very bottom of the right column. Subscribers through email will receive a bi-daily digest of our latest posts.

Please note that The Post & Email does not divulge its email list to any other organization.

How do I get permission to republish a Post & Email article?

To obtain permission or license to republish the written, graphical, audio, or video content published originally by The Post & Email, please subscribe to one of the following services.

BLOGGER SPECIAL

Bloggers who wish to republish on any one blog of their own the totality of any one of the daily published articles of The Post & Email must obtain permission by purchasing a Blogger License.  Such a license will grant such permission for the 365 days beginning on the date of the subscription.  This license costs $10.00 annually per blog. The republished article must retain all links and the original byline and title.  There must, furthermore, be a link to the original URL at the beginning of the article:  the text thus linked must include the words “Republished with permission of The Post & Email.”

NEWSLETTER/Mailing-list SPECIAL

For those organizations, de facto, incorporated or affiliated with another legal entity which have mailing lists or publish a newsletter and who wish permission to reprint in its entirety one article each day from our published articles, they may obtain permission simply by purchasing a Newsletter License. Such a license will grant such permission for the 365 days beginning the date of the subscription.  This license costs $25 annually  per 1,000 subscribers to any single newsletter or mailing list. The republished article must retain the original byline and title, and all the original links  when republished in electronic format.  Furthermore, when republished electronically, there must be a link to the original URL at the beginning of the article:  the text thus linked must include the words “Republished with permission of The Post & Email.” When republished in hard-copy, there must instead, be a mention of the url of the original article with the statement, “Republished with permission of The Post & Email.”

INDIVIDUAL SYNDICATION OF ARTICLES

For permission to reprint any individual article in any one hard-copy commercial publication  for a single occasion, permission can be granted by obtaining an individual syndication license.  This license costs $20 per article republished for hard-copy publications which have a circulation of 50,000 or less.  For every 100,000 or more readers, above this, an addition $20. The republished article must retain the original byline and mention “The Post & Email.”  The republished article can contain all or a majority of the original.
