CDR Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III had a successful 16-year career in the U.S. Navy when he was court-martialed and framed for a crime he did not commit. While he was able to remain in the Navy for four more years and officially retire honorably, his record was blemished and future Navy aspirations destroyed.
