The “Occupy” movement began in the fall of 2011 to allegedly protest the “global financial system”

(May 17, 2013) — [Editor’s Note:  The producer of the initial production of “Occupy vs. Tea Party,” a reality show with the purpose of educating young people about the workings of government from different viewpoints, Gordon G.G. Gebert was a guest on a conference call earlier on Friday hosted by BreakingNewsJournal.net.  He is seeking funding to complete the second installment of the show, dubbed “Occupy vs. Tea Party – The Rematch/Round 2.”  Mr. Gebert is an author and former member of the rock bands Guns ‘n’ Roses and Motley Crue.  An initial fundraiser was announced on May 2.

Ruth Bryant White, Editor-in-Chief of BreakingNewsJournal.net, intends to grow her news service into “the town square of new media.”  She is currently focused on publicizing the Common Core educational curriculum scheduled to begin in September by which the subjects taught and methodology in the public schools will be dictated by Washington and will “fundamentally change.”

White is working with experienced Hollywood producers and filmmakers to create feature films, a television channel, and programming which the public wants to see.]

Hello Backers,

“Occupy vs. Tea Party” is a REALITY SHOW that YOU would WANT to SEE! Now is your chance to JOIN the FUN, get involved, become an Executive Producer and MAKE a REALITY SHOW a REALITY!

“Occupy vs. Tea Party” is Big Brother meets Survivor by way of Celebrity Apprentice with the most explosive subject of all… POLITICS!

The purpose of the show is to bring together Occupy and Tea Party members under one roof to compete and debate in a competitive game show atmosphere. Occupiers and Tea Partiers will perform politically based challenges, win immunity, have “the great debate”, then vote their own members off the show. When 1 Occupier and 1 Tea Partier are left standing, YOU the audience will decide the winner! Politics, confrontation and entertainment all rolled up into one!

The “X” factor is exponential. We have no idea what’s going to happen!

Since starting the Kickstarter campaign we’ve gotten incredible response and interest. Chuck Woolery wants to host “Occupy vs. Tea Party”. Keith Emerson wants to do the “Occupy vs. Tea Party” theme song. Ted Nugent expressed interest in the show. And these are the people we can mention! Political pundits contacted us wanting to go toe to toe with their adversaries.
As anyone knows, it takes a budget to make it happen and only YOU can help here on Kickstarter.

We need a minimum of $10,000 to shoot and edit our first pilot web reality series show – Occupy vs. Tea Party. Yes, we are posting the first show on YouTube! Don’t think because we need a big number that we expect big pledges. Any amount helps! $1 helps – it raises awareness to other potential supporters.

Also keep in mind, the more funds we receive over the minimum – the better talent we can get involved and the better production will be.

If we do not reach the minimum full amount of $10,000 by July 19th, Kickstarter returns ALL pledged money in full to backers and nothing goes to “Occupy vs. Tea Party”.

Please pledge what you can, get involved, help us reach the $10,000 goal and become an “Occupy vs. Tea Party” Executive Producer.

If you need any assistance or have any problems placing a donation contact us at 203 321-7037 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST.

Thank you very much,

Gordon G.G. Gebert
Creator / Producer

BTW Your pledge isn’t actually processed until our campaign is 100% successful. It’s all or nothing but with your help we know we can go platinum!

The Tea Party movement began in 2009 after Barack Obama began spending unprecedented amounts of borrowed money for the Stimulus bill and pushing nationalized healthcare, which passed the following year

Facebook. Everyone loves Facebook. “Sharing” our video (with your own note) is even better than “liking” it, but both are great! You can paste the URL straight onto your page!

Twitter. Tweet out the video – there’s a button right under the video.

Email. Write a note to the people you know who might love the message of this project. We so appreciate it.

Talk about it. A lot of people don’t know what Kickstarter is and you can be the first to turn them on to it!! Our project would love to be their initiation into indie reality show making.

But whatever you do, we cannot thank you enough!!
