(Jan. 11, 2023) — In a post on his TruthSocial account Wednesday morning, 45th President of the United States and 2024 presidential candidate Donald J. Trump suggested he is aware of the contents of the classified documents found in Joe Biden’s post-vice-presidential office which are now reportedly the subject of a Justice Department investigation.

The documents were discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement on November 2, 2022, according to Newsweek, but not made public until Monday. According to Fox News, Penn Biden is a “foreign policy think tank” Biden launched in 2018.

The 2022 midterm elections took place six days later, with Republicans winning a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives but allegedly performing below expectations in U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races.

Trump is also under investigation for the “classified” documents he allegedly was storing in a locked room at his Mar-a-Lago resort after he left the White House in January 2021.

Trump and several surrogates have claimed he “declassified” all of the documents taken to Mar-a-Lago prior to his departure.

A number of news anchors and pundits have questioned the handling of the discovery of classified documents in an apparently unsecured office vs. the FBI’s August 8, 2022 early-morning descent on Mar-a Lago.

Others have suggested the two situations are very different for several reasons.

“Biden’s documents are HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL, many pertain to UKRAINE, where Hunter was ‘raking in the dough,’ and FUNDED BY CHINA, which gave $55 Million to Biden, through Penn, and probably had easy access,” Trump wrote. “Was the Old Crow’s boss, China loving Coco Chow, involved? Just asking?”

“Hunter” refers to Joe Biden’s son, who is reportedly under investigation for possible tax evasion arising from his overseas business dealings, which, as evidenced by content made public from Hunter’s former laptop computer seized in 2019 by the FBI, involved the greater Biden family, including Joe Biden when he was vice president.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, which Trump claims he won, Joe Biden claimed he had no knowledge of his son’s overseas ventures and had never spoken to him about them. However, emails found on the laptop indicate that the elder Biden was arguably instrumental in securing at least some of the millions of dollars which flowed from China to Hunter’s various business entities’ accounts.

In one email, a 10% financial cut was to be awarded to “the Big Guy,” The New York Post reported in its exclusive and extensive disclosure of the story for which it was censored by Twitter and other social-media outlets at the time.

“The Old Crow” refers to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, with whom Trump appeared to have a cordial relationship early in his presidency but against whom McConnell turned more recently, including condemning him for the January 6, 2021 incursion at the U.S. Capitol though voting to acquit him of House impeachment charges stemming from the incident.

“Coco Chow” is McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, who, according to The New York Times, had questionable ties to China through the shipping company owned by members of her immediate family as she served as Trump’s transportation secretary.

Chao served as labor secretary during George W. Bush’s presidency.

In a post Tuesday, Trump opined that “REPUBLICANS CAN GET ALMOST EVERYTHING BACK THAT ‘THE OLD BROKEN CROW,’ MITCH McCONNELL, AND THE REAL ‘LEADER,’ CHINA CENTRIC COCO CHOW, STUPIDLY GAVE UP TO THE DEMOCRATS OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS, BY SIMPLY PLAYING TOUGH IN THE UPCOMING DEBT CEILING NEGOTIATIONS…”
