(Sep. 26, 2022) — No sooner had your humble servant submitted for consideration his post regarding the acceleration of the disintegration of the Republic, than he ran across the comments of one Keisha Lance Bottoms, now Brandon the Goof’s “Senior Advisor on Public Engagement.”
Bottoms has accused “MAGA Republicans” of planning to “destroy the United States.” Watch for the Democrat Party’s stenographers – the mainstream media – to focus in upon and in unison cough up that concocted pejorative in the coming weeks as we approach the midterm election. Third Reich Minister of Propaganda Goebbels would be extremely proud.
With apologies for sullying the P&E website with a link to the MSNBC interview where she made that assertion, here it is: https://news.yahoo.com/w-h-adviser-keisha-lance-173410816.html. Drawing on the lexicon of Orwell’s dystopian “1984” and its principles of “Newspeak” and “Thoughtcrimes,” Bottoms is actually probing the “bottom” of the barrel when she accuses “MAGA Republicans” of some evil plot to “destroy the United States of America.” Adding insult to prevarication, she lumps into her false indictment the recently released “Commitment to America” from House Minority (soon to be Majority) Leader Kevin McCarthy.
Let us examine the accusations Bottoms is making more closely.
First, in truth, it is the progressives, the radical Democrats and the apparatchik propaganda arm of the Democrat Party that are seemingly out to destroy the United States, at least as it has existed for the past 235 years. And anyone who reads the GOP “Commitment to America” and concludes that it is some nefarious blueprint for the destruction of the United States is either psychotically impaired or indulging in a controlled substance…, or both.
This all began, of course, when a person who characterized himself in the eyes of others as a “tragic mulatto trapped between two worlds” assured his followers that he was out to “fundamentally change America.” That he did…, that he did…, and decidedly not for the better. As proof, one need only examine historical reality and employ the legal maxim res ipsa loquitur: “The thing speaks for itself.”
Second, quite apart from the lingering question of whether Obama was constitutionally eligible to the presidency as a “natural born citizen” – and many believe he was not – the laundry list of actions and warfare words targeting the United States for destruction emanate not from true constitutionalist conservatives. Instead, they emanate from the left; from the Democrats in government; and from radicals like Elie Mystal.
Mystal – a radical progressive employed by the Democrat bullhorn The Nation – has, for example, called the Constitution “trash” as having been written by “captains of the slaving industry.”
This characterization, of course, ignores the fact that but for an inhumane practice which has mercifully been outlawed in the nation despite decades-long resistance and objections of Democrats, Mystal and his progeny would likely today be trapped somewhere in Haiti, where he was born, although his Internet bio describes his citizenship as “Caribbean.” Apart from the fact that the “Caribbean” is a geographic area and not a nation, he may (or may not) be a dual U.S./Haitian citizen.
And if back in Haiti, he certainly would not be pulling down an estimated six-figure salary and have an estimated net worth of $5 million. Nice gig if you can get it by expectorating on a nation which has seemingly facilitated making you a multimillionaire. Again, if hypocrisy did not already exist, people like Mystal would invent it at breakfast if only to fend off starvation before lunch.
But I digress.
The list of Democrat-inspired acts and omissions which seek to cripple the Republic, and thus “destroy the United States of America,” is long and heavily documented: (1) the Goofball’s de facto eradication of the southern border; (2) the Goof’s killing of national energy independence; (3) Brandon’s rewarding of the Taliban and al-Qaeda with a catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, thus emboldening Russia in Ukraine and China in the Taiwan Strait; (4) his firebombing of the nation’s economy with inflation that robs all Americans – Democrat, GOP, Independent and even Green – of the purchasing power of their salaries and savings; (5) silently condoning and ratifying the morphing of the FBI and the DOJ into clones of the Nazi Gestapo and Schutzstaffel; (6) his slandering of half of the nation as being “enemies of the state;” (7) Democrat threats to “pack the Court” over the overruling of Roe v. Wade, which by the way at least the Court had the courage to formally overrule; etc., etc., etc.
Stated otherwise, the Democrats, not “MAGA Republicans,” are the perpetrators – to be distinguished, of course, from political “traitors” – of the acts and omissions calculated to destroy the United States.
Bottoms is a common fool – working, BTW, for a fool – and Mystal is a common hypocrite. Neither one of them can see beyond their myopic and distorted view of a nation they despise. If they don’t like it here, they are free to leave. Oh…, wait…, the annual per capita average income in Haiti, Mystal’s country of birth, is around $1,250. Not sure even a committed hypocrite like Mystal would be interested in that kind of a pay cut. The smart money says that he will likely remain residing in his comfortable home in Mount Vernon, New York… yes, Virginia, the same place where George Washington made his home.
Is this a great country or what!!?
