(Apr. 10, 2022) — At 4:07 p.m. EDT, actor Kevin Sorbo finished addressing remotely the “Defeat the Mandates” rally held at Grand Park in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon featuring dozens of speakers.
“We are standing up,” the Defeat the Mandates website states, against “vaccine mandates,” “vaccine passports,” “Forcing Covid-19 Vaccinations on Children,” “Coerced Vaccinations Without Accepting Risk,” “censorship” and other restrictions, including government interference in the doctor-patient relationship.
The event mirrors one held in Washington, DC on January 23, where physicians and scientists advocating a different approach to the COVID-19 pandemic spoke along with the vaccine-injured and Americans from various walks of life.

Following Sorbo, civil rights proponent Angela Stanton King began her speech with, “Let freedom ring!”

At 4:20 p.m. EDT, Rabbi Michael Barclay told the large assembly that he never closed his California temple during the COVID-19 lockdown, nor did he require masks during services.
He spoke of “the miracle of Passover” to a crowd bearing American flags and signs with, “Say NO to mandates.”
Drs. Pierre Kory, Robert W. Malone, Ryan Cole, Richard Urso, Aaron Kheriaty and others who spoke at the Washington, DC rally appear on the roster. At approximately 4:00 p.m. EDT/1:00 p.m. PDT, Malone released in a blog post the text of what he plans to say, which reads, in part:
“I was born in Palo Alto, raised in Goleta California, but when I return to my birth state I hardly recognize it. What has happened to the open, freedom loving society of my youth? Why has free speech become vilified, and why does the Los Angeles Times feel the need to label people Nazis without any evidence? Do they forget that the Nazis came to power as a left-wing party, and that the hallmark of their rise was aggressive use of censorship, propaganda, and Mass Formation Psychosis to control people?
“I donated to the Obama and Biden campaigns – which I now regret. What I have seen over the last two years, particularly here in California under World Economic Forum-trained Governor Gavin Newsome cannot be unseen. Now the Uniparty wants to push him for President. He must be stopped before he and his party can expand their totalitarian mandates and laws. There is no medical emergency. There is no justification for these laws that the California Democratic party and their WEF allies want impose on us.”
Independent journalist Lara Logan is scheduled to speak, as is Lt. Col. Dr. Teresa Long, identified as one of several military whistleblowers reporting, based on official Department of Defense data, that adverse medical events such as stroke, cancer, miscarriage, and neurological problems have increased alarmingly as of the introduction and mandatory administration of COVID-19 vaccines.
At 4:33 p.m. EDT, several teenagers from Granada Hills spoke about the impact vaccine mandates had on them. One young man said he was “kicked out of school” for refusing to submit to the vaccine mandate.
At 4:40 p.m. EDT, the vaccine-injured and those who lost close relatives, such as Ernest Ramirez, Sr., appeared on stage. Ramirez wore a shirt with “Pfizer vaccine killed my baby boy” emblazoned on the front.
