(Apr. 27, 2021) — On Tuesday afternoon, 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump issued a statement to Gab.com concerning the audit of the November 3, 2020 election proceeding in Maricopa County, AZ, the first and only of its kind.
As he has since November 4, in Tuesday’s statement Trump contested the declared results of the presidential election in Arizona and other states which denied him a second consecutive term in the White House and saw Democrat challenger Joe Biden inaugurated on January 20.
Trump’s comments followed his statement on Friday in which he asked, “Why are the Democrats so desperate to stop this Election Fraud from being revealed?” responding to his own question with, “That answer is obvious!…Our country needs the truth of the scam 2020 Election to be exposed…Thank you State Senators and others in Arizona for commencing this full forensic audit. I predict the results will be startling!”
According to statistics published by The New York Times, Trump received 74+ million votes in November and Biden 81+ million, an increase from the 2016 presidential election of approximately 26 million votes. Many believe such a change implausible given the numbers reported from previous presidential elections and the total number of registered voters in 2020.
Particularly in the half-dozen “swing” states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia, many voters reported witnessing a myriad of anomalies on Election Day, including ballots processed multiple times; the destruction of ballots; the production of ballots from suitcases stored under tables in the State Farm Arena in Fulton County, GA; the blocking of Republican and independent observers’ witnessing of ballot-counting; unprecedented deliveries of boxes of ballots in the early hours of November 4; and the transporting of potentially hundreds of thousands of ballots from the state of New York to Pennsylvania prior to November 3.
Republican members of the Arizona Senate initially requested the Maricopa audit in December, and a judge ruled in their favor in late February when he instructed the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to turn over the subpoenaed voting machines and ballots. Just days before, a forensic audit of the machines used in the election authorized by the Board of Supervisors identified no anomalies.
However, Trump, along with many of his supporters, remains unconvinced. “The Radical Left Democrat Party has gone absolutely INSANE in fighting the Forensic Audit of the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, right now taking place in the Great State of Arizona,” he wrote on Tuesday. “They sent a team of over 100 lawyers to try and stop it because they know what the result of the Arizona Senate sponsored audit will be—and it won’t be good for the Dems.”
On Thursday, the Arizona Democratic Party, led by the lone Board of Supervisors Democrat, Steve Gallardo, filed suit reportedly “to protect the sanctity of the ballots and more importantly to preserve voters’ privacy from a sham audit that has been corrupted by agitators and conspiracy theorists.”
An attorney for State Senate President Karen Fann disagreed. “Which voter is having their right to vote thrown away?…This isn’t changing the effect of anyone’s vote,” he reportedly said.
On Friday, the Arizona Democratic Party declined to provide the $1 million bond then-presiding Judge Christopher Coury required to halt the audit temporarily. On Monday, an evidentiary hearing was postponed since Judge Coury recused himself Sunday. The new judge in the case, Daniel Martin, once worked for a firm which merged with Perkins Coie, one of the law offices challenging the legality and constitutionality of the audit.
Martin held a hearing Tuesday with another scheduled for Wednesday, the AP reported.
Ten years ago today, Perkins Coie co-founder Robert Bauer, who left the firm approximately two years ago, told a group of White House reporters in an off-the-record meeting that the image posted that morning on the White House website said to represent Barack Hussein Obama’s “long-form” birth certificate was authentic, procured by special arrangement with the Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH). However, the results of a 5+-year criminal investigation conducted by former detective Mike Zullo, who was commissioned by Maricopa County Sheriff’s Joseph Arpaio, were that the image is a “computer-generated forgery,” a finding with which two independent forensic analysts agreed.
As it has the “election” of Joe Biden, the media defended the image as authentic without conducting its own investigations, at times suggesting that “racism” fueled doubts as to Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve and questions over the genuineness of the birth-certificate image.
On Monday, Trump predicted that “the Radical Left Democrats ‘demean and destroy campaign’ will start very soon. They will say anything they can to take away the integrity, validity, and credibility of what these incredible Patriots are doing—but the people of Arizona won’t stand for it. They were among the earliest to see that this was a Rigged Election!”
