Three Terrorists Killed, One Still at Large in France

(Jan. 10, 2015) — As reported on Friday, two Islamic terrorist incidents carried out in France resulted in hostages being taken following the murders of 12 employees of a satirical newspaper on Wednesday.

The suspects in Wednesday’s slayings, brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi, had stolen a car and gone into hiding, then resurfaced at a printing company in Dammartin-en-Goele approximately 19 miles northeast of Paris.  The terrorists took a hostage, and a high school in the area went into lockdown mode.

Cherif had spent 18 months in “pretrial detention” after having associated with numerous radical Islamics and attempting to join the fight against U.S. forces in Iraq in 2005.  The brothers were also associated with Abu Hamza, who was sentenced to life in prison by U.S. federal Judge Katherine Forrest in New York City.  In 1998, Hamza had kidnapped and killed four British tourists and become a well-known “fiery” Islamic cleric in the UK.  In 2002, he lauded the September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S. and was extradited from the UK to the U.S. in 2012 to stand trial for “plotting to set up a terror camp in rural Oregon, intending to provide support for terrorists in Afghanistan and in connection with the 1998 Yemen attack.”

Both Kouachi brothers were born in France to Algerian parents.

A third suspect in the newspaper murders, Hamyd Mourad, reportedly turned himself in to authorities later on Wednesday after seeing his name mentioned in connection with the newspaper attack on “social media.”  Mourad was a brother-in-law of the Kouachis.

“Mourad” is a common Arab name.

On Wednesday, several arrests were made of “relatives of the (Kouachi) brothers.”  On Thursday, the UK Telegraph reported that “The two Charlie Hebdo gunmen were trained and indoctrinated by a network of French Islamists with links to Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isil).”  The paper also stated that “Chérif Kouachi, 32, whom French police are chasing along with his brother Saïd, 34, for the murder of 12 people at the offices of Charlie Hebdo, has [sic] links to one of America’s most wanted foreign terrorists.”

On Saturday, Mourad was released from police custody after several school classmates stated that he was in class during the time of the Charlie Hebdo attack.

A second event unfolded at a kosher supermarket in Paris conducted by two associates of the Kouachi brothers which killed four hostages. Schools there were also placed in lockdown.

The male perpetrator at the supermarket, Amedy Coulibaly, was killed by French authorities, but his female accomplice, Hayat Boumeddiene, remains at large.  As Coulibaly threatened to kill all hostages if the Kouachi brothers were harmed, the sound of gunfire erupted at the scene in Dammartin-en-Goele in which the brothers were killed by authorities.

The single hostage taken by the Kouachis survived.  According to CBS, a second man took refuge in the building while the Kouachis were confronted by police.

On Thursday, a policewoman was shot dead in the street, with Boumeddiene and Coulibaly’s involvement suspected.

A police officer killed on Wednesday execution-style was a Muslim.

As many as 88,000 law enforcers and other French government personnel focused on locating the Kouachis after Wednesday’s killings.

It is believed that Boumeddiene has taken refuse in an Islamic “No-Go Zone,” which, according to a November 2006 article by Middle East Forum President Daniel Pipes and updated several times since then, number 751 throughout France.  Pipes describes such areas as “Dar al-Islam, the place where Muslims rule.”

Several reports say that the elder Kouachi brother, Said, spent up to a year in Yemen, where he participated in “religious studies” and had a meeting with Anwar al-Awlaki, who the Obama regime killed with a drone in 2011.   According to The New York Daily News, Said Kouachi received training from the terror group known as Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).

The National Counterterrorism Center reports that AQAP has “has orchestrated numerous high-profile terrorist attacks.”

Writing for The Clarion Project, former CIA agent Clare Lopez reported in 2012 that an Islamic in “no-go zone” Arab festival in Dearborn, MI, attendees wearing clothing or bearing signs promoting Christianity were the object of bottles, rocks and physical abuse by Muslims.  The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department refused to protect the citizens who were attacked or to press charges against the perpetrators.

Lopez also referred to the “over 750” French no-go zones, which are called “Zones urbaines sensibles” and listed by location on a French government website.

The UK has also allowed Sharia-law zones since 2008 and the observance of Sharia law in its courts.

“In the case of Dearborn, the legal system of sharia, in effect, was enforced by default by officers who are sworn to defend American law, not Islamic law. Sharia law says that any speech a Muslim finds offensive is slanderous, a crime that can be punishable by death under sharia,” Lopez wrote.

As of June 2012, Dearborn reportedly had a population comprising 45% Muslims.

Patriotic rallies have been held since the attacks, with a larger march planned for Sunday.

In the United States, putative president Barack Hussein Obama continues to welcome Muslims from Iraq, Syria, Somalia and other Islamic countries as “refugees.”  The Muslim Brotherhood, considered a terrorist organization by Egypt and many other countries but not the U.S. under its current regime, has been planning for decades to overthrow Western civilization and institute Sharia law.

Obama has high-level advisers within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who have affiliations with groups tied to The Muslim Brotherhood.

Lopez has termed Obama “a radical Islamic enemy of America.”  Arguments against Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve as president include that his claimed father was never a U.S. citizen, which, according to some scholars, was inherent in the Founders’ definition of the Article II, Section 1, clause 5 requirement of “natural born Citizen.”
