Let’s cut to the chase. The 2014 National Defense Authorization Act, detention provisions of 2012 left intact, recently passed the U.S. Senate 84-15. In response, in the last three days, 500 people signed up to take back their towns, nearly tripling the last three months. 40,000 people visited the PANDA website, and 1.6 million others were educated about the NDAA, and the dangers of it.
For those of you who are new, mark your calendars. We are kicking off 2014 in a big way with a National #TakeBack call to get you started right. Speakers will include Jason Casella (took back Emmett, ID), Dan Johnson (PANDA National Director), Benjamin Selecky (PANDA Operations), Daphne “Just a Mom” Lee (forced Las Vegas to stand up to NDAA), and more.

To those of you who have been here awhile, all we can say is thank you. Thank you for all the late nights you spent figuring out how to approach that councilman, planning an event, and writing a last-minute editorial for the local paper.
Thank you for dedicating radio time, your publishing website, and your email, to spreading the word on the NDAA Resistance. Thank you for picking your kids up from school, and then dashing off to a protest or a lobby day. Thank you for, day after day, spreading the victories, successes, and learning moments of the resistance.
Thank you for telling us when we were wrong, when we made a mistake, and helping us understand how to best help you.
Most of all, thank you for doing whatever you can to make this resistance work. Thank you for making the Anti-NDAA resistance the largest, most antipartisan, and most diverse movement to interpose against a Federal law in U.S. history.
