Adolf Hitler

When Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1933, he promised to revive Germany’s failing economy. While some jobs were created, Hitler pushed aside the constitution, marginalized the Reichstag, and became a dictator who imprisoned, tortured, murdered and maimed millions of citizens throughout Europe in what became known as the Holocaust.
