Re: The Family Research Council shooting vs. Mitt Romney being responsible for the death of a cancer victim.

Re: The SPLC is a “hate” group by its own definition

Dear Mr. Potok:

Unfortunately, the word Mister appears to give you and Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) Founder Morris Dees, credit for being learned, scholarly and worthwhile adults, therefore we use the title with great reluctance.  That aside, we’ll get to the point.

Since the political side that you represent and are deeply in bed with and indebted to, (Democrat/liberal/progressive/socialist/FBI/Homeland Security, etc.) has labeled Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney a murderer and responsible for the death of a cancer victim, it follows then that the SPLC is the hate group that was the probable cause of a “shooter” entering the offices of the Family Research Center in Washington DC on August 15th and opening fire on essentially helpless, unarmed victims and wounding the building manager, with the sole intent to kill as many people in the building that he could out of blind hatred.   The direct and inescapable connection being that SPLC labeled the Family Research Council as a hate group and incited the shooter to do what he did in a violent act of domestic terror.  Therefore, SPLC is complicit in the “shooter’s” heinous crime, using the same twisted and guttural logic the liberals use in defining conservatives when tragic events happen.  They did it at the Oklahoma bombing with Timothy McVeigh.  They did it at the Tucson shooting last year.   And they have done it with the recent Aurora, CO shooting.  If there was a violent act, SPLC and the left in general, immediately blame it on conservatives and in the same hypocritical breath, they call for civility.

Don’t take our word for it.  Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, came out on numerous television appearances and directly blamed SPLC for the shooting.  Mr. Perkins praised the heroic actions of the building manager who subdued the shooter, even after being shot himself.

We know all about SPLC and felt its sting, as our organization has been labeled by SPLC as a dangerous “Patriot Group”, lumped in the same report that includes SPLC’s list of “Hate” groups.  The SPLC “Hate” group list just happens to include the Family Research Council of Washington DC where the “hate” shooting took place.  Since Patriot Groups and Hate groups are included in the same SPLC report, the inference can be (is purposely) made that both groups have a negative connotation, delve in or foster hate, advocate or adhere to extreme  anti-government doctrines, opposed to the New World Order and engage in wild conspiracy theories.  With the exception of engaging in wild conspiracy theories, these SPLC definitions could be directly applied to all of the Founding Fathers and all those that picked up a musket to challenge the supremacy of Great Britain on a new continent upon which freedom was born ….. American freedom.

Here is the reality about SPLC for our reading audience.  SPLC is a hate group by its own definition.  It hates legally constituted, uniquely American militias (think conservatives) and targets them.  It hates patriot groups (think conservatives) that love their country and see it careening out of control into a morally and financially bankrupt Absolute Democrat Monarchy and targets them.   SPLC hates Christian and other religious groups (think conservatives) from which spawned the foundation of American principles of individual, unalienable, natural rights, along with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and targets them.  SPLC hates conservatives and uses its vast ill-gotten wealth to spew hate against conservatives all over America.

It hates any individual or group that doesn’t fit into SPLC’s neat, little, Democrat box on what is acceptable behavior for a good, compliant, dumbed-down, ignorant and free loading American robot, who lives off the sweat, blood and tears of those that are self-reliant, independent, hard-working and responsible American citizens.  (mostly conservatives)

But it gets even worse.  SPLC exploits with a vengeance, the poor, disadvantaged, ethnic and down trodden masses to raise enormous (think obscene) sums of money through emotionally charged advertising that appeals to the naive and un-educated amongst us, to enrich its founder and in-house attorneys.  In short, Morris Dees has turned SPLC into a moneymaking machine, with the government as a willing accomplice.

As if it couldn’t get any worse, shyster-attorney Morris Dees’ SPLC sets up conferences with local and state law enforcement to “educate” law enforcement about the individuals and groups it has labeled in its “hit” lists as “Hate” groups or “Patriot” groups.  SPLC uses those lists to brainwash local law enforcement on who to look for or target as potential terrorists ….. or potentially violent trouble makers.  SPLC conveniently omits or dismisses the unruly and violent Occupy Wall Street groups that “terrorized” towns and cities all over America with violent, terrorist acts against property and persons.  Occupy Wall Street was the brainchild of unions and communist organizations and fully endorsed by the Democrats.

When the Home Land Security Department put out its list of potential terrorists a year ago, it used the “Hate” and “Patriot” report from SPLC to build its terrorist list, even going so far as to name returning veterans as potential terrorists.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a very dangerous, left-leaning, if not an outright corrupt organization, run by vicious attorneys that uses SPLC’s money and its cozy, if not incestuous relationship with the federal government to deliver a message of hate directly towards and against any individual conservative or conservative group that has the audacity, the unmitigated gall, to poke his or its head up above the noise level and declare that America is not the America envisioned by its founders.

SPLC’s website says they teach tolerance but tolerance towards conservatives is not part of their propaganda.  Ken Silverstein, writer for Harper’s Magazine, from his article entitled “The Church of Morris Dees“, writes about SPLC:

“Ah, tolerance. Who could be against something so virtuous? And who could object to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Montgomery, Alabama-based group that recently sent out this heartwarming yet mildly terrifying appeal to raise money for its “Teaching Tolerance” program, which prepares educational kits for schoolteachers? Co-founded in 1971 by civil rights lawyer cum direct-marketing millionaire Morris Dees, a leading critic of “hate groups” and a man so beatific that he was the subject of a made-for-TV movie, the SPLC spent much of its early years defending prisoners who faced the death penalty and suing to desegregate all-white institutions like Alabama’s highway patrol. That was then.”

“Today, the SPLC spends most of its time-and money-on a relentless fund-raising, campaign, peddling memberships in the church of tolerance with all the zeal of a circuit rider passing the collection plate.  “He’s the Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker of the civil rights movement,” renowned anti-death-penalty lawyer Millard Farmer says of Dees, his former associate, “though I don’t mean to malign Jim and Tammy Faye.”  the Center earned $44 million last year alone- $27 million from fund-raising and $17 million from stocks and other investments, but spent only $13 million on civil rights programs, making it one of the most profitable charities in the country.”

David Horowitz said of SPLC, “….. it is the most prominent and active left-wing smear site in America.  Like much of the left, SPLC has joined the Muslim Brotherhood and front groups in attacking patriotic Americans who oppose the Islamist oppression of women, gays and other religions and promote “jihad” against the United States.”

SPLC is a known vicious hate group that acts overtly and with malice against conservatives in general and conservative principles in particular, as well as being a shill and mouth piece for the Democrat party.  For those of you who would like to take a shot at SPLC and give Mark Potok of SPLC a piece of your mind, you can reach him by e-mail at: mark.potok@splcenter.org.  We encourage you to be courteous and respectful when contacting Mr. Potok or Mr. Dees, even though they nor SPLC are worthy of your courtesy and respect.  Or, as an alternative, send Mr. Potok or Mr. Dees a first-class letter to the above address.
