(Sep. 15, 2017) — 2:03 – The non-profit, open-government organization Judicial Watch is currently hosting a one-hour seminar titled “Exposing the Deep State,” with JW Director of Investigations and Research Christopher Farrell beginning by asking the question if a “soft coup” has taken place within the U.S. government.
Guests include former Deputy Assistant to the President Sebastian Gorka and author Diana West, among others.

Gorka was asked to speak first and is revealing his experiences while in the White House, which he left exactly three weeks ago.
Gorka said he prefers the term “permanent state” to “deep state.” He contended that the phenomenon has been growing for a number of decades.
He also observed that “seven times” the number of national security leaks have emerged during the Trump administration as compared to the eight years of the Obama administration.
West spoke about known communist influences within the U.S. government dating back to the mid-20th century.
Investigative journalist Todd Shepherd reviewed the FOIA law, describing it as “broken” the a catalyst for the mainstream media’s increasing use of anonymous sources. He presented the hypothetical situation in which a government “leaker” has an agenda. He suggested that if an outlet has information leading to the identity of a leaker, it has the obligation to release it but likely would not do so.
JW Senior Attorney James Peterson said that after the change in administrations, the “same people” remain “in control” and routinely flout the Freedom of Information Act. “We still have an IRS with a commissioner in place; Lois Lerner doesn’t get prosecuted for the abuses that occurred there…” he said.
“There isn’t any change in policy,” he said, despite JW’s many lawsuits for FOIA information withheld in violation of the law. “Democracy does not seem to make a difference to them,” Peterson said of the career employees comprising “the deep state.”

I’m very tempted to take the first sentence of your 2nd paragraph, have it printed on a 3′ X5′ blank flag and march down Pennsylvania Avenue, D. C., or march down Houston street in Dallas,Tx (circa 1963), alone, if I have to. Whatever happened to “God, Country, & apple pie?” Apparently it changed to ” ‘many gods,’ open borders, & fast food.”

The fault for the rise of the “Permanent State/Deep State” lies with the American Electorate;most of whom don’t care enough to even take 1 lousy hour to watch a presentation like this one and be advised of the situation regarding their freedom and the Federal Government’s usurpation of State and People’s rights (9th/10th amendments). The Constitution has been relegated to the Trash can.
What amazes me is they didn’t mention Arpaio’s attempts to expose the deep state operations that put Obama into office and deflected any attempts to expose his fraudulent Presidency. Dr. Gorka mentioned “Conspiracy Theories Vs. Facts” and yet no government authority wants to even look at the evidence – even Larry Klayman/ Dennis Montgomery’s 47 hard drives given to the FBI have apparently been “buried”. There’s proof of Conspiracy – but no one will look at it.
It’s a very sad state that America is currently in I’m afraid.
