Mayor Ganim Responds to Houston Mayor Turner’s Call with Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

MAYOR GANIM AND BRIDGEPORT FIRST RESPONDERS TO COLLECT TOILETRIES AND MONETARY DONATIONS AT THE ORIGINAL VAZZY’S

(Sep. 7, 2017) — WHO:             Mayor Joe Ganim, Bridgeport Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Bridgeport Police Department, Bridgeport Fire Department, 70th Barnum Festival Ringmaster Johnny Vazzano, Bridgeport American Medical Response (AMR), American Red Cross, WPLR 99.1 Radio Station, BTX Logistics, City Council and members of the community.

WHAT:          In direct response to Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s call for donations, Mayor Joe Ganim and Bridgeport First Responders with 70th Barnum Festival Ringmaster Johnny Vazzano and many community organizations will be collecting the following items needed for Houston citizens:  toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers and funds.   All goods are designated to be driven to Texas for Hurricane Harvey victims

WHEN:          Friday, September 8, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
