CALLS ONE “CRAZY,” THE OTHER “PSYCHO”

by Sharon Rondeau

(Jun. 29, 2017) — On Thursday morning, following tweets indicating on Twitter his support of a U.S.-Mexico “sugar deal,” President Donald Trump changed the subject to the hosts of the MSNBC daily morning show, “Morning Joe.”

The program is hosted by former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, daughter of the late Zbigniew Brzezinski, who advised President Lyndon Johnson between 1966 and 1968 as well as President Jimmy Carter on national security.

The elder Brzezinski passed away on May 26 at the age of 89.

While generally endorsing an approach of “peaceful engagement” with the former Soviet Union and opposing intervention in Iraq in 2003, Zbigniew Brzezinski favored deposing Muommar Gaddafi in Libya in 2011.

“Morning Joe’s” co-hosts, who are engaged to be married, have claimed that Trump is guilty of constant “lies,” with Scarborough going farther to say, “Trump always lies” and is the “Greatest Liar That’s Ever Sat In The White House.”

Mika has worked for ABC News, CBS News, and WTIC in Hartford, CT as well as MSNBC.

One version of HER biography points out that she began her television career as an “actress.”  The same website, IMDB, posted media reactions to Trump’s Thursday morning tweets as well as Mika’s on-air response.

Brzezinski did not claim Trump’s statements to be false.

Neither Scarborough nor Brzezinski has ever acknowledged that Trump’s predecessor, Barack Hussein Obama, has claimed ownership of an image purported to represent his original birth record from Hawaii which was immediately declared a forgery by several reputable graphics experts as well as a five-year criminal investigation concluded last December.

According to a gossip column in The Washington Post on June 30, 2016, Brzezinski had recently finalized a divorce from her husband of 23 years, Jim Hoffer, “without TMZ finding out until after the dust and the disagreements have settled.”  At that time, it was rumored that Brzezinski and Scarborough were romantically involved.

Last month, Brzezinski criticized competitor CNN for featuring Trump senior counselor Kellyanne Conway on its show in what Brzezinski described as an attempt to obtain a “little ratings crack.”

On Tuesday of this week, CNN producer John Bonifield appeared to admit in an undercover video produced by Project Veritas that the network’s constant focus on the Trump/Russia “collusion” narrative has been done “for ratings” under the guidance of CNN CEO Jeff Zucker.

Throughout his presidential campaign, Trump was highly critical of the mainstream media, and more recently has called out CNN as promoting “very fake news.” Following the release of the first of two Project Veritas videos this week, Trump additionally called out the other “alphabet” news companies OF NBC News, CBS News, and ABC News. He also criticized print outlets The New York Times and The Washington Post, which have frequently used unnamed sources in a number of articles since Trump took office apparently intended to damage his credibility and agenda.

Also on Tuesday, an article published by Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept documented a significant number of “fake news” articles published by The Washington Post, CNN, Slate and C-Span, respectively, since December.

  1. Okay. I’ve had it. I will always support Trump but I’ve had it with the tweeting. He should stick to policy issues and progress he has made. He must refrain however, from responding to Hollywood liberals and the Fake News media. At least refrain from direct responses like he did today with Mika and Joe. I don’t like them either but Trump has got to stop. He is giving the liberals fuel for the fire. Please someone make him stop tweeting. It looks like he has all the time in the world to play these games and it is not necessary.
