ANNOUNCEMENT REPORTEDLY COMING IN SETH RICH CASE

by Sharon Rondeau

(May 23, 2017) — At approximately 5:00 a.m. EDT, Fox News “Hannity” host Sean Hannity tweeted, in response to a tweet by Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom last night, “DNC knows this is 1000% true.  An important piece of information. Follow this closely!”

Hannity has been reporting on the case of former DNC staffer Seth Rich, who was murdered last July 10 in what the police have called a “botched robbery” even though nothing of value on his person was taken.
His tweet on Tuesday repeated one issued by Dotcom on Monday night.
Rich was known to have dressed up in a panda suit on occasion. “His nickname was Panda,” Dotcom had tweeted.

On Friday, Dotcom tweeted that he possessed evidence showing that Rich was a source for the open-government organization Wikileaks.

Twelve days after Rich’s death, WikiLeaks released thousands of emails said to have come from the DNC server showing that the leadership had shown preference for Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders despite the claim of neutrality during the Democrat primaries.

After observing Dotcom’s comment on Friday, Hannity requested more information.  In the brief exchange which followed, Dotcom asserted that he “is the evidence.”

“I was there,” Dotcom added.

Dotcom resides in New Zealand and is currently under house arrest as a result of a case brought against him by the U.S. Department of Justice alleging copyright infringement by means of a file-sharing website Dotcom had established in 2005.

Dotcom has been fighting a request from the U.S. for his extradition.  In February, a New Zealand court ruled against him, but he mounted an appeal.

On Saturday, Dotcom had tweeted that he would be meeting with his attorneys on Monday and would be making a statement on the Rich case on Tuesday.  On Sunday, Hannity announced that he would be hosting Dotcom on his show, presumably in the near future, and directed his followers to follow Dotcom regarding new developments in the Rich case.
Reactions from the political left have been virulent.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, Dotcom tweeted:

As of 12:26 PM EDT, no news has yet been released on Dotcom’s Twitter feed, which also appears on his website, kim.com.
