“WHEELS UP”

(Nov. 10, 2016) — CBS White House reporter Mark Knoller has provided photos of the airliners of President-Elect Donald J. Trump and vice-president-elect Mike Pence as they prepared to depart LaGuardia Airport in New York for Washington, DC for meetings with their respective White House counterparts.
The meetings are scheduled for 11 AM ET.
The Trump/Pence team learned that it had won the 2016 presidential election in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, after the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was called for Trump in a very close tally of votes.
At approximately 3:30 AM on Wednesday, current White House occupant Barack Hussein Obama personally called Trump to congratulate him on, despite contentious hostile statements made during the final months of the 17-months campaign.
Later on Wednesday, Knoller tweeted White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest’s comments at the daily press briefing to the effect that he expected the meeting between Obama and Trump to “not be easy.” Earnest also contended that Obama’s previous assessment that Trump was “unfit for the presidency” or any other governmental position continued to hold true.
Shortly after tweeting the photo shown above, Knoller added another showing Port Authority airport fire trucks “offering a salute” to Trump by spraying his airliner with water from two directions.
At approximately 9:45 a.m. ET, Knoller tweeted:
P.S. So what, Trump neglected to have the press pool
accompany him on his airplane on his dime to the White
House to meet with Obama.
Much of the media were no friend nor fair to him. Often
in his rallies he spoke that they wouldn’t scan the large
crowds or speak the truth. This could be Karma in that
perhaps Trump will keep the lying, dishonest media at a
distance. They can find their own ride and pay their
own way. There is a price for fair and honest reporting.
Therefore, only Trump many hold and influence the media
to be fair and honest.
If I have correctly remembered a remark of Trump, he
stated going to Air Force One was a “down-grade”.
To me this was not a “dig” but the actual truth.
When he said this, it did make me chuckle. Only
Trump can make the statements that he does.
