WHAT DOES WIKILEAKS HAVE, AND WHAT MIGHT IT RELEASE?

(Oct. 2, 2016) — The claim on Twitter that Julian Assange of WikiLeaks will release potentially damaging information to Hillary Clinton’s campaign on Tuesday now has its own hashtag, #OctoberSurprise.
On September 27, Jesse Rodriguez of NBC News reported “Julian Assange set to make an announcement from his balcony in London next Tuesday, according to @WikiLeaks.”
As The Post & Email reported on Sunday, political operative and informal Trump adviser Roger Stone predicted on Twitter that Clinton will be politically “done” as of Wednesday.
Speculation about what the presumptive emails might contain include “pay to play smoking gun,” “Email proof of bribery,” and “#WikiLeaks CONFIRMS @HillaryClinton SOLD weapons to ISIS,” among others.
Several weeks ago, Assange stated in an interview on Fox News that he would be releasing more documentation tied to Clinton.
