“MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD”

Before you head to the Patrol Store to stock up on the gear that you will need to look and perform at your best in the military, though, check out the five high paying jobs below.

1.      Engineer IT Systems Operator

When you become an engineer IT systems operator in the UK military, you will be able to work as a trained soldier on the ground, or you can be employed as a member of a crew of other signallers within an armoured vehicle. Either way, your goal would be to provide your team with secure data and voice communications. These communications are absolutely vital to every member of the army, from the commanders to the soldiers.

2.      Healthcare Assistant

As a healthcare assistant, you will be working with talented registered nurses, and you can do so in a modern hospital in the United Kingdom, or you can be stationed in a more challenging environment, such as a field hospital. Regardless of where you work, however, you will be providing vital health care to the people who need your help after sustaining injuries or developing illnesses.

3.      Paratrooper

If you are the type of person who wants to embark upon a truly exciting career that will really get your adrenaline pumping, consider becoming a paratrooper. In this position, you will be part of a hard-hitting, highly mobile combat team. You will hop aboard aircrafts, including helicopters, in order to get close to the exciting action, and then you will drop into that action with the help of a parachute. You will get to work on the ground at whatever your assignment is, with the help of your team, backup teams, and supplies provided to you throughout your mission.

4.      Infantry Soldier

If you want to be in the middle of all of the real action that comes with the military, you should pursue a career as an infantry soldier. You will be working as a part of the frontline team that will be providing disaster relief and peacekeeping efforts, and you may even be fighting during all-out war. Of course, you will be supported while you are on the battlefield because you will be working alongside the UK’s top soldiers.

5.      Helicopter Pilot Officer

As an elite pilot that has been trained in flying fixed-wing aircraft and military helicopters, you will be working in a really exciting position, and you will be providing valuable support to combat troops. You will also use your leadership and command skills to protect your fellow soldiers.

Ultimately, if you are interested in joining the UK military, there are a variety of job positions to choose from, and you will gain invaluable skills and experience along the way.
