ATTEMPTED SABOTAGE?

by Sharon Rondeau

(Aug. 20, 2016) — On Saturday morning, this writer attempted to click open an article sent by TPATH on Friday evening for publication.  TPATH has been publishing news and editorial for a number of years on subjects which include the Second Amendment, constitutional governance, America’s founding, social and cultural issues, elections and politics, and issues of particular interest to New Jersey residents, where TPATH is based.

TPATH has been a regular contributor to our compendium of popular editorials since at least April 2010, when this writer assumed ownership of The Post & Email.

Upon clicking the tab to access the full article, The Post & Email was brought to a screen with a “warning” stating, “Deceptive Site! This web page at sable.godaddy.com has been reported as a deceptive site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.”

“Deceptive sites are designed to trick you into doing something dangerous, like installing software, or revealing your personal information, like passwords, phone numbers or credit cards.  Entering any information on this web page may result in identity theft or other fraud,” the “warning” continued, although as a news and commentary hub, TPATH has never required the entry of anyone’s personal information.

The link associated with the “warning” appears as:

The Post & Email never designated any “security preferences” which would have identified TPATH as a website to be avoided.

Over the course of the last 9+ years, when Barack Hussein Obama began his quest for the presidency, some of his supporters, later termed “Obots,” have attempted to silence free speech and criticism of his regime in a number of ways, including website and email hacking, planting viruses and disinformation, copying and reproducing articles without permission or attribution, issuing death threats and obscene phone calls, and interfering in various court cases seeking the production of Obama’s original documentation, if it exists.

Over the same period of time and continuing to this day, the mainstream media has worked diligently to insulate Obama from criticism and accusations ranging from incompetence to negligence to treason.

Upon choosing to “ignore” the “warning,” The Post & Email reached the full version of the article, titled “Bondage of Eternal Ignorance,” without further incident.

We have informed TPATH Editor Dwight Kehoe of this unprecedented event.

It is an automated process. Nobody “reports” any website. From Google:

“Google’s Safe Browsing technology examines billions of URLs per day looking for unsafe websites. Every day, we discover thousands of new unsafe sites, many of which are legitimate websites that have been compromised. When we detect unsafe sites, we show warnings on Google Search and in web browsers.

These unsafe sites fall into two categories, both of which threaten users’ privacy and security:

Malware sites contain code to install malicious software onto users’ computers. Hackers can use this software to capture and transmit users’ private or sensitive information.
Phishing sites pretend to be legitimate while trying to trick users into typing in their username and password or sharing other private information. Common examples are web pages that impersonate legitimate bank websites or online stores.”
