CAN GOVERNMENT EVER BE TRUSTED?

(Dec. 5, 2015) — “Throw down your guns and come out with your hands up.” ~ Dialog from hundreds of Westerns and the current message from government to its citizens.

Why is it I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone and expect to hear Rod Serling start explaining events surrounding the latest mass shooting and the immediate response of government and media personnel exalting more gun control as the only answer before the bodies of those slain have assumed room temperature?

The folks doing research for Harvard and Northwestern universities claim the rate of mass shootings has tripled since 2011. Of, course there are the political opportunists, especially those clothed in conservative garb, who claim Obama is responsible for this increase. Ah, but it’s not the people; it’s the machine.

What a merry-go-round this whole debacle has become. With every new mass shooting the pleas from government and the media (like there is an actual difference in their agendas) for more stringent gun control increases steadily just as gun sales reach new highs.  So, the question I am waiting for Mr. Serling to pose is this: are the citizens of this country more afraid of mass shooters or the government which wants to disarm them?

All governments become evil and tyrannical regardless of their benign beginnings. Ours is certainly no exception. Documented history of the 20th Century reveals governments during that period of time murdered over 200 million of their own citizens.

Another important question becomes: would governments plan and carry out crimes against their own citizens to further an agenda of control or to manufacture evidence for going to war? Is there empirical evidence of our government planning or participating in such an event? We must dig no deeper than “Operation Northwoods.” According to James Bamford, author of  BODY OF SECRETS,

“Code named Operation Northwoods, the plan, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war.”

Let me repeat here for clarification two phrases from Bamford’s report on this government plan of action: “called for innocent people to be shot on American streets” and “a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere.” What about people being framed for bombings they did not commit?” Is this not what is happening now and has been happening with increased frequency in our country? What would lead any prudent individual to believe our government has become less tyrannical since this plan was formulated in the bowels of government back in the early 60’s?

It is well documented that people naturally want to believe what makes them feel good, regardless of any facts to the contrary. This is especially true of those who have assumed government as their lord and protector. Where is the evidence this government cares more for its citizens than it does those it refers to as its enemies? This government wants to disarm Iran, North Korea and its own citizens, but provides arms and training to ISIS.  Hmmm.

This government lied about not knowing the Japanese were coming to bomb Pearl Harbor; lied about the events surrounding the assassinations of JFK, RFK and MLK; it lied about the Gulf of Tonkin attacks; it lied about the OKC bombing; events surrounding the Boston Marathon bombing, WTC building number 7, and anyone who believes the passport of one Mohammed Atta could survive a crash into a WTC building on a plane loaded with fuel and land in pristine fashion atop the rubble of that debacle needs some serious counseling—or stronger meds.

Any trust in our government has to be based on a strong emotional need, for there is absolutely no factual evidence whatsoever on which to base a belief in the words or actions of government. Instead of questioning the motives of those referred to as “conspiracy theorists” should we not be questioning the motives of government and its employees?

Who profits from the horror of a mass shooting when the government begins proposing gun control before the bodies are cold? Who would use the dead and wounded to further an agenda? Where is the simple respect for those who were attacked? Is it to be found in proposing new laws that would leave even more people vulnerable to similar attacks?

Why would government want the people to be disarmed? Why does a member of government fear an armed citizen? Could it be they realize this ponzi scheme of borrowing money to the point the interest on the debt is more than the gross receipts of that government will be discovered by the citizens and they will seek retribution from those who sold them on this criminality? Is there a fear that when all draconian legislation they pass or have passed is discovered for what it really is, the people might actually resist?
