GANG VIOLENCE DESTROYING BLACK LIVES IN CHICAGO; MEDIA SILENT

(Nov. 6, 2015) — I am now more than ever convinced the America I grew up in during the 50s and 60s has long since disappeared from the landscape of history and has instead been replaced with an Orwellian bizzaro world.
Just this morning, I saw on TV that a father in Albuquerque (citizen) who removed his son from a hospital because he believed the care his son was receiving was flawed or substandard, could face criminal charges for child abuse and endangerment. At the same time, I cannot forget the images of a Richland County, S.C. cop (government employee) violently removing a young female high-school student from her desk and throwing her to the floor and thrusting his knee into her back. I can find no record this badge-toting he-man was ever charged with any crime, although I am sure the citizens of that area will in due time be forced to ante up millions to settle the inevitable lawsuit.
What is the lesson to be taken from the above? Your children belong to the state and when an employee of the state commits a crime against you or your children, they have immediate immunity, but the people will eventually be forced to pay for that employee’s indiscretions.
Professor Walter Williams, a man of exceptional intelligence and understanding once said, “The way you can tell if the government is doing something illegal is: if you were to do the same thing you would go to jail.”
I also had a long-time question answered for me last evening. I actually saw and read where the Mayor and Police Commissioner addressed nationally the incredible loss of Black lives in Chicago. What it took to bring this to the forefront was the wanton murder of a 9-year-old black boy, reportedly a new tactic now taking place in the gang world of Chicago: the murder of relatives of gang members.
Checking in with the police officers of Chicago’s blog gives one a much better view of what is actually happening as opposed as to what the media moguls present as the truth.
Obviously, the incredible loss of black lives to violence in cities like Chicago does not matter enough to make national news. Those who will succumb to violence in Chicago will exceed 600 (the majority being young minority males) this year despite the attempts by the Police Commissioner and Mayor to create more categories in which to place these deaths to keep them off the “official” count. This is somehow less important than a shooting in a church in Charleston, S.C. If the families of the dead and those who will die in Chicago want to bring attention to their plight, perhaps they should be photographed with a Confederate Battle Flag.
From the postings on their blog from the CPD rank and file, there is apprehension of a full-blown war on the streets of Chicago which the media is ignoring. The police are currently serving multiple search warrants around the South Side of the city in hope of finding some evidence to help in apprehending the person(s) who are responsible for the death of this 9-year-old black kid. His father, a known gang-banger, has been described by the police as “uncooperative.” Imagine that.
Could the refusal to cooperate have anything to do with a meeting between rival gang leaders called last week by the CPD where after the meeting one of the “gang leaders” was shot and killed while riding home with his mother? The media, according to the cops’ blog, are “dancing all around this shooting” since it might indicate gang members may be killed for talking to the police?
Also of interest on the CPD member’s blog was revelation of the fact “dozens of police officers are being disciplined for ‘READING’ a police report involving Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s son.” Didn’t see this on the evening news, now did we?
