WHAT WOULD THEY SAY NOW?

by Sharon Rondeau

An image purported to represent a certified copy of Obama’s original birth certificate from the Hawaii Department of Health was found over three years ago to be a “‘computer-generated forgery” which the media refused to investigate.

(Aug. 2, 2015) — In an April 4, 2008 article published in the Rockford Register Star, Gannett News Service writer Brian Tumulty asked two “professional storytellers” to critique the campaign performance of then-frontrunner candidates for president Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain.

According to Tumulty, “Professional storytellers say among the three presidential candidates the clear leader is Barack Obama, who has a talent for using his life story — being raised by a white mother and grandparents during the 1960s — to authentically discuss ways to turn hopelessness hope [sic].”

One of the “professional storytellers” Tumulty consulted, Annette Simmons, authored a book entitled, “Whoever Tells the Best Story Wins:  How to Use Your Own Stories to Communicate with Power and Impact.”  At the time, Simmons was quoted by Tumulty as having said that Clinton should have publicly apologized for “misspeaking” after she related arriving at an airport in Bosnia in 1996 “under sniper fire.”

In the midst of unfolding revelations regarding her use of a private server for all email traffic while serving as Obama’s Secretary of State and questionable donations made to the foundation she and husband, Bill Clinton, operate, Hillary Clinton is again seeking the presidency for 2016.  Two inspectors general have recommended a criminal investigation into whether or not classified information was sent to or from Clinton’s private server which may have been breached.

According to Mike Zullo, lead investigator of a criminal probe involving an image released by the White House in 2011 purported to be Obama’s long-form birth certificate, Obama’s life story of having been born and raised in Hawaii, with the exception of four years in Indonesia, is untrue.  Zullo has led a four-year investigation conducted by the Maricopa County Cold Case Posse into the long-form birth certificate image as well as Obama’s purported Selective Service registration form which concluded that both are “computer-generated forgeries.”

Obama claims that he was born at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children on August 4, 1961, a statement the hospital refuses to confirm.  Previous reports stated that Obama was born at Queens Medical Center, some of which were subsequently altered without explanation to say that he was born at Kapiolani.

In 1991, Obama’s literary agent, Acton & Dystel, circulated a biography which stated that Obama was “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”  In April 2007, two months after he declared his intention to seek the presidency, the biography was changed to say that Obama was born in Hawaii.

While members of Congress have criticized Obama’s positions and politics, none appears concerned that he has likely lied about his background and possibly his constitutional eligibility to serve as the nation’s chief executive.

“There never was a birth in Hawaii,” Zullo said of Obama in 2013.

Since the 2008 campaign, various versions of Obama’s purported life story have been told by him and others. In July 2008, as the campaign drew in record amounts of cash, Michelle Obama contradicted her husband’s contention that his parents were married when he was born.  “Barack’s mother was very young and very single when she had him,” Michelle Obama said during a speech on poverty and its effects on children.

Michelle has also expressed admiration for her husband’s “authenticity.”  She has both called Kenya his “home country” but exclaimed during the 2008 campaign that he “grew up in Hawaii.  Who grows up in Hawaii?”

While a state senator and U.S. senator, Obama claimed to be a committed Christian; however, while in the White House, he has derided Christianity on several occasions.  Many believe he has clearly favored Islam by addressing various Islamic groups in Arabic, some of which have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical organizations calling for the deconstruction of Western Civilization, particularly the United States.

In 2008, Obama’s life story was emerging, perhaps for the first time, as he sought the presidency.  After having reviewed thousands of archived articles about Obama’s Illinois state senate and U.S. Senate service over the last several months, The Post & Email has observed that Obama’s birthplace, elementary and college education, time spent outside the country and other facts about his life were not highly scrutinized.

At some times he was said to have been a “constitutional law professor” at the University of Chicago, while at others, he was described as “an adjunct professor” who taught a civil rights class there.

It is not required for a state senator or U.S. Senator to be a “natural born Citizen” as it is for the president and commander-in-chief as stated in Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution.  Most Americans understand “natural born Citizen” to mean that a person seeking the presidency must have been born within the U.S., although some constitutional scholars believe that there must be two generations of U.S. citizenship for a candidate to qualify with undivided allegiance.

Obama claims a father who was a British citizen, then a Kenyan citizen following that nation’s declared independence from the Crown in December 1963.  On his 2008 “FighttheSmears” campaign website, Obama reported having been born a dual citizen of the U.S. and Kenya, but his status as a “natural born Citizen” was not questioned by the mainstream media.

Declared 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz was born in Canada to a Cuban-citizen father who obtained Canadian citizenship and much later, U.S. citizenship.  Cruz’s eligibility has been affirmed by some but disputed by others.

Neither of the two storytellers Tumulty consulted appeared to question Obama’s life story, but both were critical of Hillary Clinton, including the claim that she possessed a “problem with her back story,” explained by storyteller Carol Birch as “what voters already know about her.”

While Obama was reportedly heavily influenced by his white grandparents as they raised him while his mother was in Indonesia, Obama has told the story of how his grandmother harbored a fear of black men.  Madelyn Payne Dunham allegedly died suddenly one day before the 2008 election.

Obama’s 1995 book, “Dreams From My Father,” might have been written by someone else entirely.

While Obama served as president of the Harvard Law Review, the Associated Press reported that his father attended Oxford University in the UK and Harvard, not the University of Hawaii and Harvard, as Obama has claimed.  The AP also wrote that Obama went to Indonesia at the age of two, not six, as Obama’s life story is commonly told.

While Obama is said to have graduated from the prestigious, private Punahou School, the AP in 1990 said he attended public schools “through high school.”

Zullo has stated that “gut-wrenching” information gleaned from the posse’s investigation and a second criminal investigation could be released after certain “legal hurdles” are overcome.

According to radio host Carl Gallups, who has interviewed Zullo on numerous occasions as the investigation has proceeded, Obama will be found to have been constitutionally ineligible to have held the presidency.

“Storytellers need to own up to their mistakes,” Simmons was quoted for Tumulty’s article as having said.
