MORE THAN 25% OF GOAL RAISED

by Sharon Rondeau

(Jul. 3, 2015) — As announced on June 24, The Post & Email has launched a campaign for funds to take advantage of an opportunity which, if fully realized, will allow the discontinuation of its subscription platform, allowing free access to anyone with an internet connection.

At the same time, The Post & Email will retain the security it has enjoyed since February 28, 2012, when it was forced to relaunch as subscription-only in order to prevent the constant hacking which brought the site down on an almost-daily basis.  We later added a free level for the benefit of those who could not afford even the smallest subscription designating with the letters “pb,” or “pro bono,” the titles of articles available on that basis.

We are happy to report that a total of $416 has been raised of the $1,500 we stated we needed to make the conversion and remain viable for just short of a year.  If and when we reach that point, The Post & Email will require a modest amount in monthly donations to continue to cover its operating expenses.

Funds can be sent by regular mail to The Post & Email, P.O. Box 195, Stafford Springs, CT  06076 or by Paypal to payments@thepostemail.com.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this effort thus far.
