Obama Holds “Extremism” Summit, Defends Islam

(Feb. 18, 2015) — On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Obama regime held the first two days of a three-day “Summit on Countering Violent Extremism” in which Obama said that the “US must stop abuses and stigmatizing of Muslim communities, so they’re willing to work with law enforcement,” according to CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller on Twitter.

According to PBS, the summit was originally planned to occur last fall but “never happened before the midterm elections.”

On Monday, the world learned of the barbaric murders of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians by ISIS terrorists in Libya.  On Tuesday, ISIS killed 45 people in Iraq by burning them to death.  ISIS has also killed Christians in heinous acts against individuals, families and Christian houses of worship, driving Christians from their ancestral homes in Syria and Iraq.

Last spring, ISIS began overtaking whole towns and cities in Iraq and Syria, burning and demolishing Christian churches, killing, maiming, and taking hostages as slaves with the goal of establishing an Islamic caliphate in the Middle East and perhaps beyond.

On Wednesday, Obama expressed the goal of identifying those who could become radicalized when “injustice and corruption leave them with no chance of improving their lives.”

On Wednesday, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said, in regard to worldwide terrorists, that “we cannot win this fight by killing them,” instead suggesting that the “root causes that can lead people to extremism” need to be identified.

The Obama regime has been loath to use the term “Islamic terrorist” and claimed, during the summit, that “we are not at war with Islam.”

In 2011, the FBI altered its training materials by removing terms which 51 Islamic groups found “offensive.”  A story in The Washington Free Beacon which reported that “The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s failure to recognize political Islam as a driver of jihadist terrorism is partly to blame for the FBI not identifying one of the Boston Marathon bombers in 2011 as a security risk, according to U.S. officials and private counterterrorism analysts” has been removed.

In Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope, he wrote, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Obama’s purported half-brother, Malik Obama, launched a non-profit organization which was quickly and retroactively approved by then-IRS Director of Exempt Organizations Division Lois Lerner.  Malik Obama is said to be the chief financial manager of The Muslim Brotherhood, whose goal, as with ISIS and other Islamic groups, is to establish an Islamic caliphate throughout the world.

A book published nearly two years ago making the case for Obama’s impeachment claimed that “Obama’s policies have been helping to install Muslim Brotherhood-friendly regimes to the detriment of U.S. national security and world stability,” as shown by Obama’s support of the Arab Spring, which destabilized numerous Middle East governments and installed Muslim Brotherhood-friendly regimes in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and Morocco.

Many believe that Obama has signaled that he is sympathetic to Islam and hostile to Christians and Jews.  He himself said in an interview that in 2008, presidential candidate and opponent Sen. John McCain had not raised the issue of “my Muslim faith,” after which ABC News interviewer George Stephanopoulos quickly corrected him with “my Christian faith.”

The terrorist group Hamas endorsed Obama in 2008, which campaign adviser David Axelrod responded by stating that they were “flattered.”  The Obama campaign reportedly met with Hamas prior to the election, although ABC News reported the campaign as having rejected the idea until Hamas “renounced terrorism” and “recognized Israel.”

In 2013, Obama greeted the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) in Arabic and congratulated it on its “50th annual convention.”  While ISNA claims that it opposes “terrorism and religious extremism,” it sports an advertisement on its home page for “Sharia Compliant Investment Solution.”  Sharia law disallows women from driving a car, leaving the home without a male relative, obtaining an education, and considers women “deficient in intelligence” and inferior to men. Every year, “honor killings” and maimings are carried out against women, men, and children, often by family members.

Early in the Obama regime’s first term, former CIA agent Clare Lopez was featured in a video with the caption, “Islamist-supporters infiltrate Obama Admin to subvert US security.”  Obama has hired individuals with known connections to Muslim-Brotherhood-affiliated groups.

At the National Prayer Breakfast on February 9, Obama invoked the “Crusaders” of the Middle Ages as morally equivalent to the barbarity of ISIS and other Islamic terrorists, outraging Christians.  As ISIS murdered the 21 Coptic Christians, its leader also used the word “crusaders.”

One of Obama’s guests at the prayer breakfast was a leader of a Sudanese army which committed genocide in Darfur beginning in the 1990s.  Last year, Sudan nearly murdered a young Christian pregnant mother for refusing to convert to Islam.

Obama was reportedly “steeped in Islam” when he first began attending the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, which preaches Black Liberation Theology, which is considered by some to have a close relationship to Islam.  Obama’s State Department was slow to respond to Meriam Ibrahim’s plight despite the fact that her husband is a U.S. citizen.

Addressing the United Nations on September 25, 2012, Obama said he supported equality in education for girls, opposed “intolerance,” and that “there should be no doubt that we will be relentless in tracking down the killers” of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, whose deaths the Obama regime falsely attributed to an internet video instead of a terrorist attack.

Libya has descended into political chaos as Islamic violence has risen since the Arab Spring which overthrew and murdered former Libyan leader Muommar Gaddafi, reportedly on the desire of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Despite Obama’s claim to be a practicing Christian, he has been observed by a Vatican Cardinal to “have become progressively more hostile toward Christian civilization” and having attempted “to restrict religious freedom and force the individuals, outside of his or her place of worship, ‘to act against his rightly-formed conscience, even in the most serious of moral questions.’”

In Obama’s health care law, Christians and other people of faith, including private businesses and colleges, were required to provide birth control and abortifacients against their deeply-held religious beliefs.

In the first of what promises to be a five-part series, “The Betrayal Papers,” published at RightSide News, details the beginnings of The Muslim Brotherhood with the Nazi movement in Germany in the late 1920s.  The authors report that “the Brotherhood was a contemporary of the Nazi Party of Germany. Indeed, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine, Amin al-Husseini, is considered by some as the man who catalyzed the Holocaust; for it was only after Husseini visited Hitler in Berlin in 1941 that the systematic extermination of Jews and other minorities began with industrial efficiency.”

The report identifies ISNA as having originated with The Muslim Brotherhood, along with other groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim-American Society.

“These front groups shape our foreign policy, which since the Arab Spring and continuing to this day is on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood,” states the article.

Obama has released numerous terrorists captured before he took office with the goal of closing the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  On May 31, 2014, Obama released five highly-valued terrorists in exchange for a U.S. Army soldier, Bowe Bergdahl, who may be determined to be a deserter.  Bergdahl’s father had indicated support on his website and Twitter for the closing of Guantanamo Bay and for Islam in general.

Obama has sought approval from Congress for expanded authority to fight ISIS but has said that the barbaric terrorists “are not Islamic.”

While Obama golfed over the long weekend as the Coptic Christians were beheaded, he spoke out about the murders of three Muslims in North Carolina last week.
