WHO IS THE TRUE ENEMY?

(Feb. 8, 2015) — The United States is at war with itself. It would be a good story line for a cartoon if we were talking about…well, there isn’t anything to compare it to now, is there? Giraffes? Koala Bears? Any candidates from the insect world? Praying mantises, bees? Not even them. No, it’s got to be us humans that are the culprits. No substitutions allowed. The joke, indeed, is on us.
So it’s the “we” who are at war with ourselves. Forget Obama’s Muslims and the illegal immigrants; they’re just the symptoms. No, the fault lies within ourselves, us legal citizens, either Natural Born or those who followed our immigration laws to the letter.
Some of us understand what is happening in the world, the political give-and-take; the repercussions of not keeping our word; the difference between “Speak softly but carry a big stick” or not having any backbone at all.
Many of us can spot a charlatan: a person who seals his records is somebody hiding something that he doesn’t want us to know. It’s not that Obama has yet to release his Birth Certificate (he hasn’t). The problem is that the people in the government who we expect to have a handle on things haven’t done their jobs. Obama was never vetted because he would not have survived the vetting process. But we know that. As a matter of fact, we’ve known that before 2008.
So what’s the problem? The problem is that some of us care while others could care less. The problem is that some of us respect the Constitution while others wouldn’t give two cents for it. Some of us respect the rule of law, while others aren’t aware of the dire repercussions in not respecting the law.
Even in my own family there are those who took the Oath while in the military but have no fidelity to it now. There are those who support Obama because he is anti-American. And there are those who fail to grasp the necessity of borders.
AG Eric Holder, perhaps the most despicable person in America (we’re not counting Obama, who isn’t an American citizen, and General Dempsey of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who is a traitor, or Valerie Jarrett, who is an agent of Iran, or Hillary “Benghazi“ Clinton, who is just plain stupid) has done his very best to divide America along racial lines, plus his feeble attempt in attacking the 2nd Amendment in the infamous “Fast and Furious” debacle. It hasn’t worked, except for those who have had a really hard time thinking for themselves, the people who actually listen to the nonsense that Al Sharpton spouts.
The divide among Americans is that of whether one is a Patriot or not. Cut and dried. Either one supports the Law of the Land, or one does not. The division of America isn’t about opportunity; money; education; whether one wastes his money in bars and on alcohol, smokes and drugs or if one saves his money and invests in education and a savings account; totally maxed-out their credit cards or carries no debt; believes in fair play or does not.
As long as there are those who continually fail to grasp the significance of the Constitution and how it directly affects “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,” America will remain divided, and a divided nation, as Lincoln so succinctly put it, “–and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from this earth.”
Americans are beheaded by our enemy. Obama releases “detainees” from Gitmo. American aid workers who are not preaching anything other than kindness and goodwill (as exemplified by Kayla Mueller) murdered by ISIS, and Obama releases “detainees” from Gitmo. Americans delivering medical supplies kidnapped and beheaded, and Obama releases Gitmo “detainees.” An Army deserter traded for Gitmo “detainees.” Do you see a pattern here? Any excuse to release Obama’s comrades-in-arms.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a Jordanian pilot is brutally murdered. The VERY NEXT DAY Jordan hangs two of its “detainees.”
The cartoon ends. Who says a cartoon has to be funny?
