(Nov. 3, 2014) — Sharon Meroni, Executive Director of Defend the Vote, filled a HAVA complaint against the Dominion/Sequoia electronic voting machines currently under fire in Suburban Cook County (Illinois) for switching votes from the Republicans to the Democrats. Two complaints were filed on August 22nd, 2014. These machines (Edge Plus 2 and the 500c) are also in Nevada and were reputed to do the same thing in the last Harry Reid 2010 re-election bid; switching votes from Sharron Angle to Harry Reid.
We recently heard how this same type of vote switching was occurring in Suburban Cook County. Election officials want us to believe this is a calibration issue. Voters need to know, calibration or not, the error rate cannot exceed 1 out of every 500,000 ballot positions. As part of our HAVA complaint, we need your reports for us to prove this error rate is exceeded!

We are especially interested in issues related to the voting machines. We are also researching voters complaints that their voter history is not accurate. We are looking into instances where voters are told that they had voted already, when they have not. We are looking into any complaints related to nursing homes voting.
