COMMENTATOR MAKES OUTRAGEOUS COMMENT ABOUT DECORATED MARINE VETERAN TARGETED FOR REMOVAL

(Sep. 20, 2014) — Last Friday, Sept. 12, on his HBO “Real Time with Bill Maher” show, Bill Maher, in picking his #FlipADistrict winner, compared Congressman John P. Kline, Col-USMC (Ret) (R-MN-2) a Combat Veteran For Congress and 25-year veteran of the US Marine Corps, to ISIS terrorists.
As the recent beheadings of American journalists by ISIS have shown, these are serious times. It is outrageous and disgusting for Bill Maher to compare Col. Kline, a decorated 25-year veteran of the US Marine Corps, to ISIS. There is no place for this – comparing an American hero and Combat Veteran whose wife is a retired US Army nurse and whose son has served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan – to a terrorist – in today’s political arena.
Bill Maher owes an apology to Rep. Kline and the 23 million Veterans who have worn the uniforms of all branches of the US Armed Forces.
This is typical behavior by Maher. He was fired from ABC for saluting 9/11 terrorists and calling our troops “cowardly.” According to Kline’s campaign spokesman, Maher “has repeatedly degraded Christians and calls them ‘schizophrenic,’ and he repugnantly compared special-needs children to ‘dogs.'”
Col. John Kline is a decorated 25-year combat veteran of the US Marine Corps. He flew Marine One for President Jimmy Carter and carried the nuclear football for President Ronald Reagan. He was awarded four Legions of Merit.
Congressman John Kline was recently awarded the “Silver Helmet” award by the AMVETS for his support of veterans. The National Guard Bureau presented him with the Heritage Painting, the highest honor for a civilian, because of Congressman Kline’s Yellow Ribbon legislation to ensure the American people take care of all veterans and their families when they come home from serving in far-off fields of conflict.
My fellow veterans, active duty military personnel, and American citizens of every political persuasion, we must come to the aid of Congressman Kline and ensure that Bill Maher is stopped by filing complaints with the producers of his program “Real Time with Bill Maher” demanding he stop slandering a highly-decorated retired US Marine Corps Colonel who believes in the below-listed Combat Veterans For Congress Mission Statement. Oh well, consider the source. Bill Maher, after all, is no different than those who continued to support Adolf, even to the point when the Russians were at the gates of Berlin.
The writing has been on the wall for years. It has been written crystal-clear in every language: Obama is a fraud, a fake, a clown, a joke and it all be really funny except for the fact that we still have the clown in the White House and low-information citizens (such as Maher) carrying water for him.
Maher reminds me of a child who says stupid stuff just to get attention.
One ear and out the other; grain-of-salt; don’t mean nothing, just as Maher himself: a ridiculous example of a man without a country.
Serves him right.
Maher’s not amusing, just a sad little boy in a man’s body crying for attention. He could be pitied, but I wouldn’t waste my precious time.
