The Subtle Suggestion of Acceptance

CONDITIONING AMERICANS TO ACCEPT ISLAM

(Sep. 5, 2014) — The insidious violation of our immediate habitat is taking place right before our very eyes, yet many of us remain oblivious to its happening or the reasons behind it. You see them in the mall, the drug store, milling around the library and other government buildings, and in the grocery and wholesale stores pushing empty, or nearly empty, carts.

You see them in television commercials: men with stubble or short beards; women with some sort of head covering; nationality questionable; mixed races and, more often, just members of a minority race only: fewer all-white actors and more all-black/Arab-like actors selling everything from life insurance to beer.

Once companies would shun at being associated with tattoos, but now we can see actors with real (or not) tattoos in many advertisements. It used to be that the connotation of the word “tattoo” was either attributed to a sailor or some isolated jungle tribe, including prison. Today the word “ink” is substituted for the word “tattoo” in a vain effort of acceptance: scarification by any other name is still scarification.

As a rule, mob rule is usually at odds with rational behavior. As with any other rule, there are exceptions: a concentration camp tattoo; overthrowing a despot; refusing to obey an unlawful order are examples of being the victim, standing up for freedom and doing the right thing.

Throughout history there are examples of people who we hold in high regard, people who fought for freedom: Spartacus, Joan of Arc, George Washington and, yes, Jesus, for Jesus advocated freedom from intellectual slavery by expounding the belief that it is you, and you alone, who has a direct and personal relationship with the Almighty, and no institution is required to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, except living as good and honorable a life as one can, honoring the one rule that rules us all: The Golden Rule.

Or should.

Apparently not, however: reference the decapitations by Muslims on incapacitated hostages (on video, no less). I see no redeeming qualities in killing a helpless person just because one can. What, pray tell, is both the immediate point and the end-game? Well, the immediate point is one of shock. I must say that the shock value is pretty potent, to say the least, but if that’s supposed to make someone surrender because of fear, it doesn’t work. The end game, obviously, is that our enemy (Islam) is telling us that they are more ruthless than we are; that Muslims are not hampered by any arbitrary rules (Geneva Convention); and that they will, in the long run, win.

The USA has successfully used two nuclear devices so far. There’s nothing in our rule book that prevents us from, once again, using a nuclear device in the future, perhaps the near future.

Each of us is tasked with the continuation of our species. We gather and form rules which to live by. We agree on certain time-honored principles, such as the “Ten Commandments.” We use the Bible as a viable teaching tool because it has just about all of life’s lessons one needs to learn in order to live a good life. The works of Shakespeare and the Greek Tragedies, the Harvard Classics and some anthropological ethnographs are also beneficial to a well-exposed mind. We of Western Civilization welcome innovation. We award imagination. We honor intellect.

Today our country is being invaded. We are being invaded, not by raging hoards racing across our borders in a blitzkrieg, but rather, we are being invaded subtly by recurring images, as in subliminal suggestion, that the acceptance of Islam as a peaceful and misunderstood religion is a benign and victimless happening; that all is well with the world; and that we are helpless to stop it even if we were aware of the very grave danger that we face.

But we are aware. We see the pushing of Islam down our throats in the movies and television shows; we see it in television commercials; we see it in the printed word and advertisements in newspapers and magazines. And since we are aware of their so-called subtle campaign to hoodwink us, we are prepared, able and willing to take proactive defensive measures to insure our survival: WE DEPORT MUSLIMS. You and I: we must strive to survive.
