SAN DIEGO, CA

(Aug. 24, 2014) — The below listed program summarizes the events on the evening of  September 6th at the Town and Country Hotel in San Diego California during a sit down dinner. This uplifting and patriotic event will be attended by Patriotic Americans and business executives from across the nation, the national press corps, Flag and General Officers, Wounded Warriors, returning Combat Veterans from Iraq & Afghanistan, Disabled American Veterans, famous celebrities, and media luminaries.  It will be a night of support for the 33 endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress in the attachment running in 21 states in the November election.  We are fairly certain that two of the endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress will be elected to the US Senate in Arkansas and Louisiana (we will have endorsed and supported 2 of the 6 Senators required to take control of the US Senate).

We will commence the General Reception at 6:30 PM as people begin arriving and will be seeking their assigned tables.  John Phillip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” will be playing in the background, and a photo of the Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima will be displayed on the two big screens on either side of the stage.

After everyone is seated, there will be a short 3 minute video about Combat Veterans.  The One America TV Network National News Commentator, Rick Amato, the Master of Ceremonies, will initiate the program by requesting everyone to rise for playing of the National Anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag  that will be led by a decorated Combat Veteran (name to be determined).  Then Rick will introduction of BGEN Douglas Lee, Chaplain Corps, to give the invocation.

At about 7:00 PM, Cong Barry Goldwater (Member of the Board and Co-Founder) will welcome the seated guests to the event and thank them for supporting the endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress.

Connie Stevens(Member of the Board) will then recognize various Hollywood celebrities in the audience and ask them to rise (Dean Cain/new Superman, Eliya Baskin, Chris Crowe, Dick Van Patten, Deana Lund, etc.), she will call the audience’s attention to a short video of Pat Boone expressing his support for the combat Veterans For Congress, then Connie will recognize various groups present—a contingent from the Murrieta Group that recently made national news opposing Illegal Immigration, the Pacific Justice Foundation, the Federation of Republican Women, The Thomas More Law Center, the Women Volunteers in Politics, the Tea Party Express, the Iwo Jima Memorial West, the Wounded Warriors.

(This is tentative) Rick will then introduce BGEN Mike Neil, USMC (Ret),who was the Commanding General of Camp Pendleton and mobilized the US Marines to deploy for Combat Operations in Operation Desert Strom.  He will express his support for the endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress, then will ask veterans to stand to be recognized for service in each of the following conflicts: WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Operation Desert Strom, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the World Wide War on Terrorism

Rick will then introduce Capt. Joseph John, USNA ‘62, who will introduce another of the Combat Veterans For Congress PAC Members of the Board, a former endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress, and a FOX Network News Commentator, Senior Ops Officer Gary Berntsen.  Gary will make a short presentation on current Combat Operations in Iraq against the Islamic State of Iraq & the Levant (ISIL).   Gary Berntsen will have just returned from deployment to the Middle East.  (Right after 9/11, Gary was selected as the Senior CIA Field Officer-in-Charge of the CIA’s largest para-military force every deployed in the field in its history.  Under his leadership, his CIA Officers were on horseback calling in air strikes against Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan; eventually with support of the Northern Alliance they drove Osama bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and the Taliban out of Afghanistan.)

Rick Amato will then introduce each of the endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress preset who will briefly state why they decided to  run for Congress and will tell those present where they have served their combat tours.

Rick will then introduce National Renowned KABC Radio Talk Show Host Larry Elder who will give a stirring motivational presentation.

Rick will then introduce a short video presentation by Texas Governor Rick Perry who wanted to attend but events precluded that.

A short video lead in will be played about the documentary “America” and Dinesh D’Souza, Rick will then introduce Dinesh D’Souza to the audience who will make the keynote address to the audience.

Capt. John will wrap up the evenings events and thank everyone for supporting the Combat Veterans For Congress by their presence, he will encourage everyone to roll up their sleeves and get active in the most important Congressional election in 238 years, to help elect Patriotic members of Congress who will rein in the out of control spending by irresponsible members of Congress, stop the hollowing out of the US Armed Forces by Obama, and take whatever action is required to protect and defend the US Constitution. He will appeal for the audience’s support for the endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress.

The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC is holding a major gala event at the Town and Country Hotel in Mission Valley, San Diego, the VIP event will commence at 5:00 PM, on the evening of September 6th   At the last event, Gov Sarah Palin was our keynote speaker; this year Dinesh D’Souza, the producer of “America,” will be the keynote speaker.  Attending the event will be approximately 500 Patriotic Americans, including returning Combat6 Veterans, elected officials, media celebrities, business executives, Flag & General Officers, Hollywood celebrities, representatives from Veterans Organizations, Wounded Warriors, and endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress from across the nation.

The gala event is held to introduce endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress to the national press, to major donors, and to raise funds for their campaigns.  The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC was founded over 5 years ago by Congressman Barry M. Goldwater, Jr. (Ret) and Capt Joseph R. John, USNA ’62 (Ret)/Former FBI; in the past, the PAC has endorsed and campaigned for the ultimate election 2 US Senators and 20 US Congressmen.  This year the PAC is endorsing and re-endorsing 33 Combat Veterans For Congress in 21 states, and will campaign for their election in the most important Congressional election in 238 years.   The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC Web site can be viewed at http://www.CombatVeteransForCongress.org.
