WHAT IS THE U.S. DOING FOR VICTIMS OF RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION?

(Jul. 20, 2014) — Dear Editor: The following letter was sent electronically to Rep. Paul Tonko (D-NY20) today:
Dear Mr Tonko:
The USA is helping thousands of unauthorized entrants from the southern border who PAID “Coyotes” to circumvent our laws. They participated in organized crime, exploited defects in our border security, and were encouraged to do so by nebulous messaging from our own government.
In Mosul, estimates of 600k Chaldean Christians have been forcibly displaced by Islamist Terror, forced conversions, and threats of decapitation.
Please exert all influence that you possess to offer TRUE and IMMEDIATE REFUGEE status to these victims of tyranny whose plight resembles that of the victims of Hitler’s tyranny in our recent past.
This would be the CORRECT use of USA resources to alleviate a humanitarian crisis, one not manufactured but imposed by the enemies of liberty and religious freedom.
