(Jul. 18, 2014) — The Breaking News Journal Media Entities is hosting a “Summer Nights With Love” concert on Saturday, July 19, beginning at 12:00 noon PDT/3:00 p.m. EDT which promises four hours of varied and exciting entertainment.

Breaking News Journal is a two-year-old alternative media initiative which seeks to grow into a full television network featuring all types of programming, particularly for young people.

Of Saturday’s event, BNJ founder Ruth Bryant White said, “This is a Talent Show or Showcase of Musical Talent from all over the world as far away as South Africa and as close as around the corner in and Across the United States.”

White added that her producer, Jocasta Odom, now known simply as “Jocasta,” is a contestant on the CBS show “Big Brother” and also an ordained minister.  White said that Jocasta will be producing four shows for Breaking News Journal titled “Autism Care,” “Virtuous Women Reality Show,” “Children’s Program,” and “Truckers On The Road.”

White has a background in television production and has worked with several well-known Hollywood actors.  Of BNJ, White told The Post & Email last year, “We are the town square of new media” with an “outside-of-the-box” method of presenting the news.

Some musicians could not participate live and have submitted YouTube vidoes to be included in the concert.

Radio show host, musician, author and former presidential candidate Dr. Laurie Roth will be participating.  Roth hosted The Post & Email on Thursday evening during the second hour of her show to speak about the latest developments in two corruption cases on which she has been reporting.

Executive producers of the show are Ruth Bryant White and her husband, Stephen White, who is creator of the Master Educator’s XChange.

The Post & Email’s editor, Sharon Rondeau, will be appearing live at 4:45 EDT.  Rondeau is a professional harpist who is active with several area orchestras and provides solo music for all types of private events.

Tickets are $10.00 each for the four-hour concert.
