Former District Attorney General R. Steven Bebb abruptly left his position on Friday, almost three months before his term was to end in August. Numerous complaints about Bebb’s performance, as reported at The Post & Email and The Chattanooga Times Free Press, were dismissed by the attorney general and Board of Professional Responsibility between 2013 and 2014.
